** FEBRUARY HAPPENINGS ** Yes, the weather has been a little colder than we like and we had snow during our recent cold snap. Our restaurants are warm and homemade soups are on the menu to warm the soul. We offer three Amish built log cabins at our RV Campground. Each cabin has a front porch, one bedroom with queen size bed and a set of bunk beds in the living area. Two burner stove top, full size microwave and refrigerator. Full size bathroom with large walk-in shower. Fully furnished with towels and linens as well as dishes, cooking utensils and coffee pot. Smart TV with Dish Network. Wi-Fi is included. The Campground is fenced and gated and we are pet friendly. There is a laundry facility on site for the guests. There is a fire pit if you want to relax. In the summer we have a cowboy pool to cool off after a long day on the water. Steinhatchee is located in Taylor County Florida along the Gulf of America. Inshore and offshore fishing is year-round. Scallop season is June 15 to Labor Day. More than 20 springs are located within 45 minutes of Steinhatchee. Too numerous to count are the Florida Wildlife Management areas that are accessible by car and allow for bird watching and animal siting of deer and wild boar. Steinhatchee River is a kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding experience. The local restaurants/Marinas are within five minutes of the campground. Live music is available at the restaurants.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Steinhatchee, don’t hesitate and BOOK with Beth! The cabins are cute and perfect for small families! We had the best time and loved the interactions we had with the couple of other guests that were also there. Beth and her husband are the sweetest most hospitable people! So accommodating and flexible! I promise you won’t regret booking here! We can’t wait to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was lovely and we had a relaxing stay. The owners were very nice and helpful! If there was any suggestion, it would be one of the following. Put a picnic table by the fire pit area for those cooking over the fire to eat at OR make a second fire pit behind the cabins in that grass area. That way it's closer to the cabin for easier access of cooking/eating. That was a super minor thing and will definitely stay there again when visiting!

Beth and Jeff were incredible hosts! They welcomed us as we arrived with delicious fresh baked cookies and banana bread. They were so kind and the cabin was just perfect for our family of four and our fur baby. Our dog loved the property too. Super per friendly. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay in Hunter's Cabin! Our hosts Beth and Jeff are both great people who genuinely care about their guests. The Cabins and the land are very well taken care of, dog friendly and well situated to explore the local area. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to Steinhatchee.

Excellent Cabins! Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Spacious parking for my boat with electric hook up to charge batteries as well as water hook up for motor flush (also not under trees, so you don’t get leaves and debris in the boat). Gated property. Owners are very kind and helpful! I will definitely return and highly recommend this place to fisherman or adventurers as they also have RV accommodations on site.

Great little cabin with everything we needed and then some. Hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our dog especially loved the large fenced in area.

Beth and Jeff are wonderful hosts! Their cabins are fabulous...very clean and comfortable! We totally enjoyed having a campfire each night! We appreciated their hospitality with the goodies left in each cabin for us and also by the time they spent with us telling us of points of interest in the area! Highly recommend their cabins...you will want for nothing! We had the BEST weekend getaway!

Beth and Jeff are wonderful hosts! Their cabins are fabulous...very clean and comfortable! We totally enjoyed having a campfire each night! We appreciated their hospitality with the goodies left in each cabin for us and also by the time they spent with us telling us of points of interest in the area! Highly recommend their cabins...you will want for nothing!
