100 acres of Florida land. 20 acres of primitive camping and the rest is a working farm with horses and cows. Arena, lodge, bathrooms, and lots of green grass. Lodge may be closed at times, for private functions Stalls are available upon request. NO SMALL CHILDREN. 10 YRS AND OVER. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES. PLEASE DO NOT START A CAMP FIRE BEFORE CHECKING WITH MANAGMENT. IF YOU USE THE LODGE, PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES AND TURN OFF LIGHTS. DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH. Site 8 - Beautiful Florida Horse Country
The bathrooms/ showers which were advertised as an added feature for this tent site were filthy ....they looked like they had not been cleaned in forever . The site also had very high grass ... Not sure why it hasn't been cut if it's going to be specific for tent camping . When I mention these things to the host ..Annie she said these were primitive sites.. But it specifically says that these sites have redone bathrooms and showers in response to another tent camper who also shared the same thing I'm sharing . I believe if she's charging close to $40 per night indicating that there are clean and updated bathrooms and showers That it needs to be known that this is not the case on any level. The bathrooms looked like they had There's also someone that lives on the property that she said was a police officer who lives in an RV and stays on the property. This was not mentioned. She actually told me when I spoke to her that there was no other hip campers there. My site was right across from the gentleman who she said was a police officer who lives in an RV as a full time resident .. And while I'm sure he's a nice guy, it still made me not totally comfortable being a single woman. I think this should be stated up front especially if he is a full time resident so to speak . There was also another camper that had several tents who was also a male. she told me that I would be the only one when I booked the site. This made me feel a bit uncomfortable as a single woman.

It was a tranquil, mostly quiet place to camp (aside from a neighbors music blaring off and on the first night and dogs barking) and honestly one of the cleanest horse farms I’ve ever been. We were grateful to have the bathroom and shower to use. Bring your own TP just in case :) No picnic tables available as listed but she brought us a pop up one. There wasn’t many campers to be seen, mostly the owners of the horses coming to take care and ride their horses which there were so many beautiful ones to meet! It was fun to meet the mini ponies too. I wish they offered horseback riding. Anne did give us info for a place that does. All in all a good stay and my 13yo daughter and her friend enjoyed it too.

We had a lovely, large patch of grass and a short walk to a flush toilet and shower. So good camping. But the best part is that this is a working horse farm with SO many horses, some in stalls and some in pastures and all beautiful to watch. We loved being there. Bring your own water for drinking.

I’f you are looking for paradise, look no further you have found it. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying on this blissful property. From the moment we drove in we were greeted by beautiful horses and cows. The host was supper Accommodating, she informed us of some local events, we were able to go to a boat ride and spotted some dolphins yay! . Skying and so much more. When you arrive. Say hello to the horses for me. lol I miss them so much!! 10 out of 10 I do recommend.

Very easy to access, Ashby able to lead us in via phone to our spot. Quiet, very pretty and green. Wide open so great for solar. Starlink worked very well. Plenty of room to pull out of the road to the gate.

We love tent Camping on this beautiful Ranch. The Sunset is so beautiful every single night. Nice hot showers available. The views are stunning, so grounding, the horses neighing is wonderful to hear. You won't regret staying here, I know I will miss this place. Big land, nice lodge to sit down and eat your meals. My kids and dogs enjoy this property. The host Ashby is very nice and welcoming. Overall amazing experience to remember.

We had a good time at this camp as we were in the countryside, surrounded by horses. The only downside was the cleanliness and obsolescence of the bathroom/restroom. One only room that was used by both horse riders and campers...

I loved the property at Ashby Acres! Everything was taken care of very well, and I personally loved seeing the horses everywhere. Basic camping amenities, but it was all I needed. :) I would definitely recommend staying here & would camp here again!
