Lyons is a quiet little town and a double gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. Nestled into a canyon along the river, and within walking distance to the shops and restaurants in downtown Lyons. Our property opened in 2015 and now has 22 tiny homes available for rent. We also have a large dining space for groups and events. Quite a relaxing atmosphere with modern amenities and flexible meeting space, WeeCasa Tiny House Resort is Lyons’s premier meeting and conference center. Wee Casa the name!

The Dogwood - A Tiny House Getaway

The tiny house was so well appointed. Almost full size fridge, nice stove and counter top. We cooked and ate outside. Nice and plenty places to sit outside too. The sheets and towels are nice. Very clean and all staff are super friendly. Just do not make booking through Hipcamp! Go straight to Wee Casa website. Hipcamp will charge you another whole night if you change your reservation at all, even if it is within a few minutes, and for one night, as I did. You can only communicate with Hipcamp through a chat bot and get standard answers. Wee Casa has really great owners/managers and are very attentive ( making the grounds clean and neat for the next day with resupply of wood and charcoal for the fire pit and grill) The place is perfect for families and there is a wedding venue on site, making the tiny houses perfect for wedding guests to stay. I would definitely stay there again.

Explore Tiny Living in Blue Spruce

Overall the experience was mixed. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. However, the home I stayed in was a bit run down and all the homes are extremely close to each other. The windows all face each other which means there is absolutely zero privacy and you have to draw the curtains. You can easily hear conversations in the next unit if windows are open. Also, while all guests are strictly required to keep dogs on leash, the owners dog runs around the lot freely. My dog does not handle well off-leash dogs coming up to him despite being extremely friendly at other times. When I mentioned this to staff they agreed and said it was an issue for other guests as well however the owner refuses to contain his dog “since he owns the place”. **There is construction currently on an event space that is extremely disruptive to guests. Apparently this was communicated to HipCamp to notify guests who are booking but I was not informed. More of an FYI for anyone looking to book here until October 2025.**

The Salida - A Riverside Tiny Home

We stayed in the Salida tiny home and it was perfect! The location is fabulous! So close to walk to everything and you are in walking distance to a beautiful park and river! The people of Lyons, Co are so sweet and we can’t wait to return <3
