This Magical Treehouse and land were everything my family needed and more!! We could not have asked for a more pleasant and peaceful retreat! Marni gave us a rundown of the facilities, and we couldn't have imagined a better stay. From the whimsical hand-crafted beauty of the actual treehouse around "Pal", to the amenities (including games/fun, cooking utilities/supplies, Wi-Fi/TV accommodations and plenty of warmth and cozy blankets and pillows, even full working bathroom facilities), down to the quiet starlit nights including a fire pit on the patio to keep warm while star-gazing! My son especially loved visiting and interacting with the extremely affectionate and friendly free roaming animals we got to interact with and became especially fond of, even giving our own little names to each, as they greeted us kindly several times each day. Only complaint was that we couldn't afford a longer stay!.. as each of us were sad to leave and say goodbye to the relaxing and intimate natured feel of the place, and our very welcoming and accommodating hosts. We felt secure even in the peaceful darkness around us knowing the host's dogs were looking out for us into the night. We will definitely be returning next season for a longer stay if welcomed, as Marni/Frank were on call for any questions or needs, we had throughout the stay, and were exceptionally kind to us as well. Thank you for such a pleasant experience to get us "away from it all" and the delight of bringing nature closer! XOX

We had a cozy weekend playing ping pong and darts! Loved the beautiful animals wandering around and the fenced in area for the kids and dogs. Tons of creature comforts while still felt like we were glamping in a treehouse. The kids loved playing games under the glow of a lantern at night. We will be back!

This place was absolutely amazing. Whether you enjoy being inside or out this is a place for you. If you go in the winter like I did, there are propane heaters or fire pits no matter the area you want be in. The stars also where simply amazing. Great stay would definitely recommend.

Tree house magic (Pal) was full of life in so many ways! We went during the winter in December and it was amazing with different sources of heat thought the house! The tree house was perfectly warm and cozy. Truly a place you can make yourself at home. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating. If you have dogs this place is great, as we brought 2 dogs, dachshund and pit bull. Plenty of space and entertainment with great views. I cannot speak any more highly about this place, as I wish we could have stayed longer than 4 nights. Highly recommend, 10 out of 10 gnomes!

Marni was super friendly and greeted us right away. So many details in the tree house that my 4 and 6 year old loved! My daughter (4) had the best time waking up in the morning to visit all the animals. The horsies and goats were her favorite. Such a fun experience, would definitely go back and highly recommend for any families looking for a fun, tree house- off grid experience!

The treehouse was amazing and Marni was great. She made sure we were familiar with everything and was there if we needed her during our stay. So much amazing work went into this treehouse that you have to experience it for yourselves.
I would highly recommend this stay to anyone.

Our stay at the Treehouse was magical. Marni and Frank are great hosts, and put so much love into their creation. I wasn't expecting to be joined by their Alpaca's and Goats everyday. We also got to feed the animals. You do need to make sure to conserve your water. We were used to this having a popup camper. This was the first time we used a composting toilet. I would highly recommend staying here. We had such a lovely time. There are so many surprises.

The treehouse is so colorful and cozy with loads of things to do in and around it. Marni and Frank made sure we had everything we needed and made our time there so joyful and relaxing. My kids and I fell in love with the animals - my 3yo and 6yo were up early every morning to feed the goats. We're already planning our next trip back!

The treehouse exceeded our expectations! It was so warm inside the sleeping area, even on cooler nights. There was tons to do around the treehouse, including games and playing with the goats. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unique "glamping" experience.

We absolutely loved saying at the tree house and Marni and Frank were amazing. The house was warm the entire time even though it was a chilly night. We were cozy in the tree house and all was amazing. We thought the dwarf goats were so much fun and waking up to alpaca and llamas just walking by was a real treat. It was calm and quiet and peaceful. The grand kids had a great time in the tire swing and the family movie night was a big hit.

LIFE GIVING treehouse magic!! We are definitely leaving feeling refreshed from this adventure (but don’t really want to leave this place yet). Marni and Frank have thought of everything and every little detail felt warm and inviting. We will definitely come back and recommend to all our friends. We brought our 4 year old and she had SO much to do, see, and explore :) annnd so did the adults…we felt like kids again!

This was absolutely perfect. Family loved feeding the animals, playing games and sitting back watching movies. It felt like home and we were sad we didn’t stay longer. Marni is more than wonderful and super accommodating. 10/10 will most definitely return.

Houses High Tree Resort such such a fun and unique experience. The hosts were amazing and helpful. The treehouse is perfectly planned down to the smallest of detail. Lots of entertainment throughout the property which guests are welcome to explore. This was a very memorable experience and I learned a lot about the 'off grid' lifestyle.

Marni and Frank were amazing hosts! They have created the most unique treehouse and inspiring treehouse - we loved being able to enjoy it for a few nights. The treehouse truly is magical and made us feel like kids again!
It snowed overnight while we were staying at the treehouse. We stayed very toasty inside with the propane heater. The treehouse has lux amenities for being off grid - running water, plenty of lights, plenty of charging outlets, and even TV with all of the streaming you'd need for a snowy weekend inside. The bed is super comfy too! There are YouTube videos available to acquaint yourself with how the treehouse functions, which was such a big plus for feeling comfortable there.
I met the horses, alpacas, llamas, dogs and cats. Looking forward to returning when the weather is warmer to enjoy the massive deck and all of the outdoor games and outdoor movie projector.
If you're interested in off grid living, their treehouse is a must! Even better, it's less than an hour away from Denver and close to so much to do. We spent the day in Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, and eating and drinking our way through Colorado Springs. Marni and Frank's treehouse was the perfect basecamp for the weekend.

Staying in this Magical Treehouse was truly a magical experience! We loved everything about it, from the fun quirky details (look for the hidden gnomes or ant sculptures), the friendliest horses we've ever met, to the countless fun activities provided (outdoor movies, gas fire pit, pin pong and numerous tire swings), not to mention the amazingly kind and helpful host! The kids didn't want to leave (nor did I)....We are already planning our next trip back!
