What a beautiful and serene setting! We only got to spend one night but we plan to be back. The river, the sunset, watching deer and geese at the river…perfect! We also enjoyed the amenities: pickleball and pool table. It’s a little pricier than other places we have statues but well worth it.

Absolutely GORGEOUS RV park! Clean, large, level lots. Quiet! So many amenities, pickle ball, bocce ball, corn hole, pool table, laundry facilities, work out facilities! Will absolutely be back!

One of the nicest RV parks we have ever stayed at. We arrived after hours and even though they had some internet issues before our arrival, they had an envelope with our name and instructions waiting for us at the office. We parked at our site right next to the river with views of the mountains in the background. In fact the funny thing is it took us a few tries to get situated in the site because the site was so spacious! Everything was new and well maintained. Didn’t really get to avail off the beautiful clubhouse and additional facilities, but will definitely do that the next time we’re passing through town.

Where to start! First off, I read the reviews before booking and I’m happy they have a policy against older rv’s. That’s a personal opinion and it might rub owners the wrong way but it was a booking factor for us. This is the nicest resort on this route for us and we’re so glad we took a chance and booked on Hipcamp. The staff at check in were so nice! The amenities were…perfection. Clean showers, bathrooms, gym, laundry and lounge. Check out the video I added. After a 13 hour drive I needed this. Family friendly, dog friendly and clean. It was very quiet at night and in a great spot. There’s a pickleball court, boat access, dog park and a short trail along the river.
I would drive another 13 hours just to stay here again. Lovely spot.

This was a great stop for us after many days on the road. With the amenities of propane, electric, water, septic and laundry, we were able to reset for another week. The RV parking is level and easy to access. Salida is a cute town and we enjoyed our visit.
