I had a blast at Kurt's Yurt. I was on a cross-country road trip with my mom and we took a little detour from our I-70 path to head a bit South to Kurt's Yurt, and I'm glad we took the little diversion as it was a great mother-daughter adventure. Kurt's Yurt is seriously stocked up with everything you could really need from pots, pans, mugs, oven, fridge, sleeping bags, firewood, coats, games, cots, chairs, and a toilet! He has directions for how everything works as well as guides on how places and activities to hike to near the Yurt. It was a bit difficult to find, but that is because we were not following his long detailed directions, once we backtracked after getting lost, we followed the directions more thoroughly and found the white signs leading to the Yurt with no problem. It rained the night we got there, but that was not too bad as we were able to use the wood stove and play some games with a deck of cards. The morning it was nice and sunny, so I wandered around the lovely Yurt area. It was a great escape into the woods for sure.
