Pros: Cody, the owner was very responsive and helpful. The view from the camper is beautiful. Kayaks and paddle boards are provided as outlined in the description. The camper has nice decor, a good firepit and cool torch lights outside. The camper awning is awesome. Nice check-in time.
Cons: As three adult women looking to relax and talk uninterrupted while we camped, we found this place not as expected. First, it is located in a homesteading area, with many vehicles, boats and construction equipment nearby. The road up is posted with a sign telling drivers to turn around and "Google is Wrong." This was not mentioned by the host. The camper was not well marked on the outside. The online description of it included a schematic that showed three queen beds would be available. They were not. The camper had one queen and two kid beds with barely passable mattresses. The description said the camper was new. It smelled very strongly of tobacco smoke and had to be aired out. The camper is situated quite close to a second camper belonging to the host as well as a car up on blocks. A handyman came to fix the host's camper for about three hours our first day. It felt odd to have him going back and forth until dark, though he was polite. The second night we were startled by someone wandering around behind our camper a little before 9 pm with a flashlight. As veteran Hipcampers, we have never had such close quarters. Do not recommend if you want privacy or more than one adult bed.

The campsite had beautiful views and the area was peaceful during the day, which we really enjoyed. The camper itself was nice overall, though it could have been a bit cleaner upon arrival. The listing mentioned privacy, but the campsite didn’t feel as private as advertised. Things were quiet until the owner came by to party at night, which took away from the peaceful atmosphere. That said, the host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Overall, it was a decent stay with some great scenery, but a few things to be aware of if you’re looking for a fully private and quiet getaway.

From the moment we arrived, it was love at first sight. The drive in was an adventure all its own, winding through breathtaking scenery with panoramic views of the Horseshoe Reservoir below. And once we pulled up, the real magic began.
Cody’s RV was everything I had envisioned—rustic charm meets thoughtful comfort. What truly surprised me, though, was the impeccable attention to detail and the well-appointed amenities that made the camping space feel like a retreat. Perched above a million-dollar view, the RV came stocked with fantastic extras: kayaks, paddleboards, and a cozy firepit that lit up our evenings under the stars.
This was my first visit to the site, but it certainly won’t be my last. The property was spotless, the experience unforgettable, and we enjoyed every moment to the fullest.
