This is such a gem!! I’ve stayed here a few times with a group. It’s a beautiful property and Alanna has created such a great space with the perfect setup. Will definitely be back!

The cabin is adorable and cozy, with everything you need for a low-stress nature excursion. The land is gorgeous and has signs and easy-to-follow directions. The hosts were excellent and responsive. We'd love to stay again!

We were part of a scooter club ride. The majority of our riders stayed in tents, but I enjoyed the comfort of the cabin. It was nice to have a bathroom, clean room, and comfortable bed. I also enjoyed the wonderful view from the front porch.

The Oak Show is a wonderful, magical campground and we are sure to return there with our kids and grandchildren. The kitchen is generously equipped and the bathrooms are spacious and spotless (with flush toilets!). It is very quiet with spectacular views and starry nights.

This was a great spot for our family. Alanna was great to communicate with, and everything was up to and beyond our expectations. The cabin with available tent camping area gave everyone what they wanted. Great spots for hide and seek with the grand kiddos, with beautiful, quiet days and nights. All of this within a short trip to Mendocino, Noyo Harbor food, The Pub (Fort Bragg), and our favorite, Big River beach!

This is our third time staying at either the oak show or the cabin. This time we rented both for a large family group. We love the property. It's a great space to let kids run around. Close to a number of beaches if you want ocean access. Usually, a bit above the fog so you can get some sunshine if it does get socked in down at the ocean.

Oak Show Cabin was a more than we could have hoped or asked for. The seamless directions for arrival, the quick responses, the cozy cabin touches, fresh air, sunlight gleaming through the bathroom, the bud vase of garden flowers and fresh dill, the wind through the ravine. Endless wonder. A short drive to the redwoods, rivers, beaches and sweet towns. We treasured our time here and only hesitate to review because…why would I want anyone else to come when I want this to be my best kept secret! We loved loved loved this sacred space. Thank you for sharing your piece of home with us, it was the solace we sought and needed.

We've been to a LOT of Hipcamps, and this is quite easily one of the best. We stayed at the RV site, which was outfitted with a full (including dishwasher) covered and clean but open air kitchen, hot outdoor shower with changing room, potable water, not one but several sets of tables and chairs, and a COUCH SET overlooking the ridge of redwoods. We parked in the middle of the meadow and enjoyed complete privacy as we glamped the night away. Alanna was a fantastic, accommodating host, and we absolutely hope to return in the future.

This space was so beautiful and such a wonderful camp experience for a group! Pictures couldn’t do it justice, a huge grassy field surrounded by red wood fairy circles, with a lovely view of the mountains on one end. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean and had everything we needed. We also loved having a hot shower under the redwoods!
Definitely planning to come back, everything was perfect here!

Alanna’s land made an awesome campsite. Alanna’s instructions were clear and they were very communicative. The amenities made it the perfect balance between glamping and camping. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, bowls, pans, and some utensils and spices. The land is gorgeous and felt very private. Our only suggestion for future Hipcampers would be to consider the wind as the ridge view makes a lil’ wind tunnel. Our staked down tents were fine, but if we stay here again we would be staking them down closer to the trees in order to get some shielding from the wind.

Oak Show Cabin
We really enjoyed the cabin. It had pretty much everything you could need. Our dog was comfortable too. Well insulated and stayed pretty warm overnight even with the fire dying out around 12.

Bittersweet leaving a review, it’s so good I don’t want to share! However, it is the best Hipcamp I have been to in years and deserves its recognition.
Instructions were clear, gate code included was correct and it was clearly marked where to go for the cabin. Property was immaculate and the secondary RV site was so far away we could not see it from the main road, huge props. Fire was roaring when we got there and was so nice and warm. Cabin had everything you will need: pots, pans, coffee maker, forks spoons, sharp kitchen knife, drying rack, cutting board, coffee cups. Stacked.
Bed was great. Freshly laundered and clean. Included was towels ( didn’t use because brought our own). Stove was a relic but in great condition and allowed us to cook a great meal.
Outside deck is cool, little too cold to use. Outside is a private meadow that looks over a stunning private valley that is worth the price of admission on its own. Upper part has a fire pit and a sink with electrical hookups if needed. Really unbelievable as far as a remote property.
Water was clean and tasted great.
Communication on point. Bathroom is great and hot water was hot for a shower. Nothing was amiss and it shows that this place is a place of pride to enjoy. 10/10 and stands head and shoulders above Hipcamps.

Located in the heart of some of my favorite motorcycle roads. Showed up just after dark. They had the cabin toasty with a fire going. Awesome! Cozy bed, coffee, and a nice stereo. Loved the massive shower too.

Alanna hosted us for thanksgiving. Her space is truly special. Our dogs had a blast off leash. It felt like having a park all to ourselves. We comfortably enjoyed a full thanksgiving meal thanks to the clean and well stocked kitchen that was available to us. The bathrooms were very clean. All of my family members repeatedly said this was one of the best campsites they had been to ever. Thank you so much for having us Alanna.
