Super beautiful spot! The site itself is set up very cute and comfortable. It’s off-grid but still very usable. The site is magnificent. Beautiful rock mountains everywhere, gorgeous views, and so secluded.
I suggest triple checking directions- the names of the streets on the maps do not coincide with the actual street names. So don’t follow the maps, follow the pictures, there are sand traps everywhere.
The dome itself is also charming and all-in-all a total gem of a spot! We loved it.

The property was clean and the views were wonderful. Our dogs loved running around the property. The dome was comfortable and equipped with essentials.. the firepit, cowboy pool, and nearby benches for watching the view was wonderful.

The owner's instructions were essential! We arrived late evening (not recommended) but were able to still find the one road to the campsite. (Note: I don't believe the road that guests turn off from the main road is marked with a street sign.) This campsite was thoughtfully layed out, magically lit with lights dotted around the property. The site provided needed shade, super charging battery station, evaporative cooler, and cowboy pool that was refreshing and clean. The two water pump porta potties and gas-heated shower in the clean W.C. shed were further camp luxuries. Stargazing was amazing! Plenty of bouldering onsite. We even were able to enjoy a movie on a projector screen from within the tent. Property is not fenced off, but we felt private and safe. Host's response time was good.

The Hilltop was a magical getaway in Lancaster/Palmdale area. My husband and I appreciate that Anita provided many amenities including towels, shampoo, bug spray, a blow horn, games, speakers, heater, cooler, fridge, and more to make us feel safe in a desert area. WiFi and charging outlets are provided. There is a projector screen in the tent if campers are interested in watching movies. The string lights are beautiful at night as well as furniture set up for relaxing, eating, and cooking. It’s easy to sleep at night being that the area is quiet. The pool is clean and nice but the water is on the colder side, suitable for hotter weather. A few cons about the area is that there isn’t too much to do; but if you are interested in an intimate time at the site itself with nice views of the city and small hikes around the rocky areas, this site is great. We did encounter two wild dogs run across the site, but they had scurried away. When we stayed, the shower heater was not working, as well as the heater in the tent. The off-road portion to the campsite was not too long; thus, my husband’s 2WD was just fine to use to get to the site. Hopefully, Anita can have those amenities fixed. Getting to the site was not too difficult as long as you carefully follow directions and not stray off the path. Overall, it was a nice getaway with great amenities and cute decor. I would recommend this site to those interested in a quick, magical getaway.

Our stay did not start off as we had planned, despite the instructions on navigating to the property- there were exact pinpoint locations that we were told to copy and paste into our map and then there was a conflicting set of pictures that we were also told to follow to get to the property. We got stuck in the sand and had to call the tow truck to help us get out and navigate us to the property correctly. However since it was very close to sunset and my daughter being an amputee we had to hike almost 2 mi to make it there before the sun went down as we were unsure how long it would take the tow truck to get our van out of the sand. Upon arrival there were several propane tanks that were empty and did not work and needed to be replaced so that evening was very cold. A lot of the furniture was broken including the futon bed to sleep on, the bench on the picnic table to have dinner on outside and the chair next to the fire pit. There was also a lot of broken solar lights left on the ground, trash throughout the site that hadn't been picked up as well as cigarette butts. The place was very private and very cute and despite the start to our trip we made some good memories celebrating our 13 year anniversary with our children. Having some sort of physical welcome guide and operator manual for what to do on site and how to find different things would have been very very helpful. The owner Anit communicated through the app however not wanting to use my phone was also a priority.

This was a very cool trip for me, my son, and two of his friends for their birthdays. Even with the insane heat wave, we had a great time. The views are stunning and both sunset and sunrise were amazing. The spot has everything you need and is extremely comfortable. The cowboy tub kept us cool in the afternoon and then the temperature was beautiful during the night. We also really enjoyed the kitchen and had a great barbecue. If you forgotten anything, there’s a store literally about 5 to 10 minutes away maximum. If you love the desert and love to camp, this is the spot for you!

We loved our stay at Anita’s Hilltop getaway. Everything was perfect, the space was big and spacious. The views were amazing and the dome was very cozy. Definitely recommend getting the projector add on, it was a great movie night in the desert. One of our best trips ever!

Anita’s land was an amazing family getaway! So close but no one around. We hung out and enjoyed the sun & pool area. Hiked around the landscape for sunset. Barbecued dinner outside and watched the stars come out! Lastly a movie night in the dome. Can’t wait to come back to this little escape.

We had a fabulous time! We are a family of 4 with two young boys and we all had a blast walking the grounds, climbing rocks and watching a movie in the dome. It was really a special time for each of us and we will definitely be back!

Amazing hilltop oasis in the desert! I always look for getaway properties where I can find solitude; away from other campers, roads, and the usual commotions and distractions of populated areas. This property nails it! I’m so impressed how someone can take a unique location; small plot of land in the middle of nowhere and turn it into an enchanting glamping experience.

I just love this little part of the world. I came to Anita’s land 2 years ago and totally fell in love then. Now Anita has expanded her wonderful dome that allowed me to bring all my family to this magical place for my husbands birthday eve on our road trip.
The kitchen has everything I needed. The bathroom was so clean, practical and efficient. My 9 year old may never wash indoors again ;). I spent my evening smiling, resting on the lounging chairs whilst my large family enjoyed playing games, watching car lights in the distance and finally taking time to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the beautiful surroundings.
I will return again.
Maybe by myself for 3 days ;) ;) ;)

This place is so awesome! The views are incredible and the set up of the camp is so thoughtful and so well done! So nice to get away without having to really get away being so close to the city. If you forget anything, you’re a quick drive to town so no need to stress. We relaxed by the pool and rinsed off in the shower that had great water pressure and got warm super fast and stayed warm. Made dinner using the outdoor bbq and sat around the fire pit. The inside of the tent was very warm when we first arrived but the swamp cooler provided cools it down significantly making it very comfortable to sleep. Before you go to bed, do yourself a favor and hike up the hill a bit and admire the stars and just take a moment to enjoy! Such a great trip. Would love to come back!

My husband and I chose our first
Glamping experience when celebrating our 10th marriage anniversary and it was splendid!!! I stayed for two days and we were able to spend some very good quality time with each other. I enjoyed most waking up and enjoying my alone time hiking in the fresh air and resorting to cooling off inside the cowboy together, watching sunsets, having just the right ways to restore and rekindle. Anita was lovely to assist us! Thanks a lot! Beautiful vision you had for this!

It was such a great experience the dome was a cute little getaway. My twin sister, her 4 year old daughter, and I stayed comfortably. I would definitely recommend this place. The pool was great. The cooking area was fun. We bought our own projector so the projector screen was amazing. There was WiFi. Everything about this place was peaceful and worth it.

Perfect place for getaway. Very clean and beautiful place to spend time with family and friends. We’ve been here twice in a month and plan to come again very soon. It’s super private! Anita’s spot is awesome! It is super private with rocks to climb that go on forever. Inside the dome is super comfy and the outside is really cute. It went down into the mid thirties at night but we were toasty warm inside with the propane heater. Communication with Anita was quick and easy. The pool was closed while we were there (which was fine since it was chilly) so I cannot speak for that and we did not use the shower but everything else worked out great! Thank you Anita for having us!

We had a blast staying here! Such a beautiful location. We had forgotten to bring our own portable speaker but there was one inside the dome so that was perfect! Definitely want to come back during a warmer season so we could take advantage of the cowboy pool. It got pretty cold and windy early on in the day but very cozy inside the dome. Anita was very responsive when we accidentally entered the campsite from the wrong direction and needed guidance (whoops!). The only thing I didn’t expect were the surveillance cameras around the site (obviously there for security but did feel slightly off-putting since it felt like someone was watching) Other than that we had a great time and would definitely come back!

We chose this location to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday in a special way, and it turned into a cherished memory for our entire family. As we're not seasoned campers and lack the experience to manage everything on our own, this place was a perfect match for our needs and exceeded our expectations.
The journey to the site involves a dirt road, which, far from being a drawback, only heightened our anticipation. Upon arrival, the views were breathtaking. The distant hills, adorned with stones, were impressive from afar, but their beauty was magnified up close, especially from the hilltop.
The dome is another highlight of this location. Offering protection and a unique experience, it was especially welcome given the chilly and windy nights of early March. Although it felt a tad small for six adults, lacking sufficient bedding, it was still far more comfortable than a traditional tent.
Cooking on the gas grill and roasting marshmallows over the campfire added to our enjoyment. Our host was exceptionally responsive to all our questions and provided clear instructions. Despite her offer for us to arrive early, our planning didn't allow for it. I highly recommend arriving earlier in the day to explore the surroundings through short hikes, particularly if your stay is limited to one day. This ensures you make the most of the daylight.
Overall, it was an incredible experience for our family, who had no prior outdoor experience.

This place was magical, great view of the snowy San Gabriel mountains, plenty of space to roam and rocks to climb. We will definitely be back and recommending to our friends and family. The space was super cute and had everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. This was my first glamping experience and I absolutely loved it. Anita was super responsive and accommodating.

Stayed here for a night with my room mates and honestly wished we would’ve stayed longer. Private camp ground with more space than you anticipate. Very quiet with lots of scenery. Anita was VERY responsible for anything that I needed to know as well as answering any questions we had. Nice little propane fire fit, grill and bar seating outside, and the yurt was great! Heater inside was a great and the projector inside was a nice touch as well. Would definitely come back here again with more friends.
