Cozy cabin
Perfect location and accommodation for a quick weekend snowboarding trip to Mammoth. The hosts Dan and Kara did an incredible job of stocking up this studio with amenities. To name a few, you'll have a full kitchen, legitimate high speed internet, streaming services, washer/dryer, and heated bathroom floors. If you're looking for an alternative to lodging that is more cost effective than a vacation rental in town at Mammoth without having to compromise on amenities, this is the spot.
Lastly, I just wanted to mention how accommodating Dan and Kara are as hosts. Considering how quickly the weather can change in the Eastern Sierra's, we really appreciated their flexibility in being able to reschedule our booking dates due to road closures on the original weekend we had planned to visit.

Perfect home base for all things Eastern Sierra! We had a cozy stay at Dan and Kara's place, situated just in between Bishop for the climbing and Mammoth for the snow, right in town with easy access. The full kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, the TV was set up with streaming accounts, and the beds were comfortable. Oh and the heated bathroom floors and that giant bathtub, just what we needed while we were there during some snowstorms! We fit three adults; it's a studio and can be a tight space with lots of people, so I'd say two couples could stay here comfortably if they are very familiar with each other. Already looking forward to our next trip out!

Loved this place!
I would highly recommend staying here. It was super comfortable and well equipped. It was close to hot springs and convict lake hike (about 10 minutes away). It was a bit farther to Mammoth but I didn't mind too much.

Great studio with a lake view
My son and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Lakeview Modern Mt. Studio. It was the perfect spot, quiet and relaxing after a day on the slopes at Mammoth. Dan and Kara were very responsive as hosts and we’ll definitely be back!

The studio was comfortable and well equipped, including a wonderful heated bathroom floor. The hosts were friendly and responsive and my sister-in-law's dog loved playing with the hosts three pups. The studio was located in a quiet residential neighborhood.

The property was the perfect little place to call home after a day on the slopes. Dan and Kara were the most welcoming hosts and were very easy to reach when needed. They even let us meet their doggoes and play with their new litter of puppies! The location is beautiful and pretty central to many of our go-to places (Mammoth, June, Bishop) so we'll definately be keeping their place in mind for future trips 😊 Thanks again for the hospitality Dan and Kara!

We Will Be Back!
Dan and Kara were the most gracious and easy going hosts! They made us feel very welcomed, and the cabin was great! Perfect size for myself, two kids, and a dog. We were all so comfortable. Nice porch overlooking the lake view for a morning coffee, comfortable bed, and lovely neighborhood to walk around. Great location not far from convict, rock creek, June lakes, the hot springs and the town of mammoth. Highly recommend!

Loved this stay!
I loved this stay. The house was perfect: enough space, clean, cute, and had everything we needed. Dan and Kara were amazing hosts and we left feeling like friends and not just hipcampers. The location 15 minutes south of town was easy access to lots of hiking, hot springs, and to Mammoth Lakes. When we return I intend to stay here again.

Lovely Eastern Sierra surprise
This Hipcamp was such a lovely surprise for our group. The hosts were very gracious and even let us play with their 4 week old puppies. They had a fire pit and outdoor kitchen for our use as well. I would return to this hipcamp anytime I am in the area if I could.

Perfect car-camping, great hosts
This was such a hospitable place to stay. We arrived at night, in the dark. D came out and greeted us, made sure we were all set. Their usual bathroom was unavailable but they accommodated us and offered us an inside bathroom to use during our stay. Beautiful property with a great view, allowed us to car camp in our Outback on their back lot.

Lovely, Idyllic Getaway
We showed up late after a long day and Kara and her husband were such lovely hosts. Truly made our entire night with their generosity and quick responses. We woke up to a stunning view in the morning and their pup Smokey was so sweet to us. Can’t recommend them enough!

Mountain gem and gorgeous views
Beautiful, perfect location with amazing hosts! My boyfriend and I had a last minute change in plans and we were able to score this gem of a spot before heading up to June Lake for a few nights. The cabin was so cozy and well stocked. The hosts were accommodating and warm - and the 3 dogs on the property were friendly and equally as inviting to our dog as well. Would absolutely stay here again the future!

Dog friendly stay, welcoming hosts
Beautiful, clean and well equipped cabin! It’s perfect for our small getaway long weekend. This cabin is just next to the host’s host, so if you need anything, it’s really easy to work with them! The hosts are so welcoming and friendly, their local suggestions is super helpful too!
If you are a dog lover, they have 3 super friendly cute dogs will give you some love!

We stayed at Safe n Quiet for a hiking weekend, and it was the perfect home base! Being between Bishop and Mammoth was excellent. We basically pitched our tent in a small grass patch by their driveway, which was well obscured and hidden from the street (which is a small private street anyway).

Lovely and well-presented, large studio. Comfortably cozy size for our family of 4.
The hosts were friendly and welcoming. They offered ideas on things to do and responded instantly to any questions we had. The check-in process was excellent – you can access the studio using a code, meaning you can check in whenever suits you.
The location is quiet and peaceful, with lake and mountain views. The studio is extremely comfortable and well stocked. Amenities include television, games, cards, Wi-Fi, a large dining table, stocked full kitchen and a bathtub big enough for two. There are also many thoughtful touches including artisanal hand soap and lotion, two shower heads, a large Brita water filter, and multiple coffee and tea options. They even have an air fryer and Instant Pot!
It was great to start the day with a good home cooked breakfast and coffee! As tempting as it was to lounge around the studio all day, we ventured out to Devil’s Postpile, Rainbow Falls, Mammoth Lakes, Lake Mary, and Lake Crowley. All are nearby. After a long day of hiking, swimming, and kayaking it felt so refreshing to take a hot shower and nestle into a comfy bed with soft sheets and fluffy duvet!
We would have loved to stay longer. Five stars! Thank you!

Lovely Stay
This was a fantastic stay! Only stayed for one night with a tent, but was able to talk to the hosts as well as meet their sweet dogs the next morning! Kara sent a video ahead of time with very clear instructions for us as we were getting in after sunset. Additionally, the property itself was super pretty. Definitely suggest this stay, it was a sweet and safe space for three girls who were tired and at the end of a 10-day road trip. Would stay here again. :)
