We had a wonderful stay at Christian's cabin. It was the first weekend of April, and were treated to having the land to ourselves. With it being this early in the year, the cooking/lounging area and outdoors showers were not yet up. I took advantage of the Gibsons community centre showers ($3), as per Christian's suggestion.
Christian is a thoughtful host, providing a tour of the area, lesson on using the woodstove, checking in occasionally, and providing equipment to meet all our needs. Between having no electricity (only solar powered lights), wifi, or plumbing; and access to a clean open air outhouse, water for drinking, hand and dish washing, a wood stove for heat, toasty warm bed, and the sounds of nature, we felt it was the perfect balance between rustic and comfort -- perfect environment to reconnect with nature and ourselves. We loved cooking food on the campfire, watching the stars come out, doing cold dips in the shallow pond, and listening to the distant chorus of frogs. We would recommend bringing indoor slippers for the cabin, tealight candles, flashlights, and cooking oil.
We look forward to coming again and seeing the result of new developments Christian is working on!

Christian has a lovely piece of land with a fresh running stream and forest as well as open areas. We enjoyed our stay in his little luxury off grid cabin. We had all the amenities we needed for heat, sleeping and dishes for cooking etc and as its early springtime we had a lot of privacy.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. At night Christian provided us with lots of candles which were gorgeous. Also there was a beautiful stream on the property as well and everything was super refreshing.

Christian's forest sanctuary is just that! The work he has put into the cabin, surrounding grounds and water features is amazing. If fairies were real they would live here! Everything you could possibly need is provided. Bring lots of tea lites with you. I would also recommend bringing headlamps/lanterns if you are staying in the winter time. Christian is an amazing host and a lovely human being. Enjoy your stay, we certainly did.

My partner and I spent 4 nights/5 days at the cabin in the forest and it was magical. Disconnecting from wi-fi, electricity, and reconnecting to the simplicity of nature and each other was a beautiful way to connect to ourselves and the land around us. We became fire tenderers, watched the sunrise and sunset, befriended with the trees, cried over the beauty of the sky and the world around us.
It was a truly unique experience and Christian was so hospitable, going above and beyond in making sure our trip was a good one. He also recommended a bunch of local areas to check out. The people at Roberts Creek and the surrounding area are incredibly nice! There are a lot of cute restaurants, art, and shops to check out. We visited book shops, music stores, unique clothing stores, and more. There was a lot of personality in every place we saw. And the beach was beautiful.
We went during the winter and it was raining and cold, but it was also very cozy. We read books and made drawings over candle light. The fire kept us warm and there are plenty of blankets in the cabin. Even though there was no running hot water, it was easy enough to boil water to wash-up or visit the local pool for a hot shower.
I would recommend this Forest Sanctuary to anyone looking for a chill place to visit. Christian is very sweet and so was everyone we met. Getting back to nature was fun and I would come back again. It's a great place for a romantic getaway and I'd love to bring friends in the future.

Stayed three nights for my partner's birthday long weekend! We had Christian's property all to ourselves for most of the stay, which definitely contributed to the zen vibes we were hoping for. It's nice to be able to spend so much time "doing nothing" without a sense of guilt, haha. We brought a bluetooth speaker, but only used it on a couple occasions (when cooking). The opportunity for silence and stillness can be a rare thing.
The cabin is not fully finished but it has everything one could hope for. Bed and sofas are on wheels so a good chance for your closet interior decorator to shine. I recommend bringing headlamps or at least external batteries for your phone torch for convenience at night (we brought board games).
The wood stove is easy to manage once you get the ropes, and Christian does a good job of teaching. We were toasty throughout our stay (evenings around 10C or so), but it doesn't hurt to bring extra for your sleep, when managing the fire might be harder.
The kitchen is well equipped and we had a blast grilling up steaks. No issues with the outhouse. We didn't get enough sun for the solar showers but it's a neat setup.
Overall a wonderful stay. Beautiful piece of property and it's clear how much care Christian has put into it- and continues to. Honestly hard to say how different our stay would be with others camping nearby, but the experience we got was very memorable.

Incredible stay at Christian’s lovely space! The area is so calming and you can feel the love Christian has poured into it since getting the land. The cabin was ideal for us, the one night wasn’t enough for us we could have stayed for weeks! Highly recommend. Lovely community aspect too

Forest Sanctuary Cabin
Christian’s land is so beautiful w/ well equipped open kitchen and a pretty pavilion to enjoy quality time with friends or fellow campers. Christian was super nice and quick to response. We enjoyed his tour and learning about his story of building this sanctuary people can come and share the nature and a moment of their life together. We had thoroughly enjoyed that and the campfire chat we had with other families staying there. Highly recommend and would come again in the future.

A beautiful setup where water gently trickles, nature surrounds, and off-grid serenity settles in. The calm is soothing and gave us the best night's sleep in quite some time. You'll be delighted-rest assured, and assured to rest-in this peaceful haven.

Forest Sanctuary Cabin
It was the first time visiting the Sunshine Coast for my husband and two boys, and also the first time camping on their own (It has always been four of us, but I could not make it this time). They rang me from the site telling me how amazing the Christian's place was. Everything was so clean and all the works were beautifully done. My boys needed some good detox from the digital too ;) It was a great father-son bonding trip!

This is an incredible and impressive campsite! Christian put a lot of hardwork and love into these grounds to make it the best campsite on the Sunshine Coast. Great support amenities and not too far from town or the ferries

Don’t miss a chance to stay at this beautiful cabin and campground and the stunningly beautiful property that surrounds it!
My son and I had an unforgettable adventure here. Christian was an excellent host and seems to have thought of almost everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. At twilight, fairy lights come on to illuminate the cabin, outdoor kitchen, and well manicured paths in a magical glow. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a delicious meal using the camp stove. Solar shower bags made staying clean both easy and pleasant.
Christian had excellent recommendations for fun things to do with our time, including kayaking with Pedals and Paddles, and the nearby Elphinstone Archery, both unforgettable experiences.
Do yourself a favor and stay here, there’s nothing that compares to this beautiful forest sanctuary on the Sunshine Coast.

Forest Sanctuary Cabin
We had a lovely weekend trip to Christians forest sanctuary. The cabin was cozy and well thought out. A great space in the trees but still close enough to town to easily go out for dinner. Looking forward to a chance to come back in the future.

Absolute dream staying at Christian’s for the weekend His introduction and story to his land and his vision for it was actually one of the highlights. We were also lucky to have the whole grounds to ourselves. Christian was helpful, communicated swiftly and was very hospitable. Will definitely be back!

Christian's land is thoughtfully developed. The cabin is very cozy. It is already very comfortable and will be even more so when complete. It was roomy enough for our family of 4.

HIDDEN GEM! 10/10 recommended for a get away vacation from the city. Christian has such kind heart and welcomed us with a good energy showing us around the camp site + the cabin we stayed. You can see and feel how much time and effort he put into the place and it was such a pleasure staying for two night and celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday.
There is an outdoor kitchen where you can cook and if you are staying in the cabin like we did - there is a small area where you can cook inside with the fire place warming up the area. The view in the night is spectacular with full of stars and you can sit by the fire making s’mores with friends and family. If you also don’t know much about the place - Christian provides you with a “things to do” paper that he created which list places and activities you can do during your stay.
We will definitely coming back with friend and family soon!

We had a great time at Christian's forest Sanctuary. The creativity and care put into every detail of the cabin as well as the surrounding camping area are nothing short of breathtaking. We spent our days meditating by the serene pond and our evenings around a crackling warm campfire. As darkness fell, we cherished the dim lights that elegantly surrounded the area and casted a magical glow a around he cabin. We awoke to breathtaking sunrises and birds singing and we cooked breakfast in a beautifully situated fully equipped outdoor kitchen.
The experience at Christian's cabin offered a great balance between glamping and camping, where we enjoyed the comfort of a cozy warm cabin embedded in a mesmerizing natural sanctuary. We enjoyed our time and the chance to disconnected from the world and connect with nature. I would highly recommend Christian's Forest Sanctuary as your next vacation destination!
I personally can't wait to go back.

Visit the forest and stay in a lovely cabin. I brought my mom and son. It is a beautiful cabin with a panoramic view of forest and sky. The out door cook hut is a blessing. Even in the rain you can cook and dine outdoors. And it’s just a quick minute away from Roberts creek,and Gibsons. You can drive up the coast and explore the beauty of such places as Sechelt and skookumchuck .narrows. We went to visit friends and enjoyed visiting the forest. A beautiful cabin we played cards by candlelight. We hope to return next year. Thank the stars.
