Carver Ridge Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with its clean and well-maintained facilities. Many campers enjoy the stunning views and the convenient location near the Buffalo River, making it a great base for outdoor activities. The hosts and staff are noted for their friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere of the campground. However, some campers noted the absence of certain amenities like a playground or pool and inconsistencies with advertised features, such as grills or picnic tables, at all sites.
Summary AI-generated from real reviews
Ease of access, clean nice bath house and showers.
The view was amazing! The facilities were clean and the laundry room was a bonus! There REALLY needs to be a playground at this site. (a pool wouldn't hurt) But no complaints whatsoever!
It’s quaint. Didn’t have some of the amenities as advertised….grills not on all site. No picnic tables at pavilion, and Carl the camp host was definitely non existent…..the owners were super nice though and it was sufficient for our needs. I don’t know if we would stay again.
Great Host. Solid amenities. An excellent view of the mountains.

Site # 8 was the best to have your door away from other campers, makes you feel more to yourself. We picked this site due to the previous reviews left and it did not disappoint. The whole park had very nice, clean, spacious and organized sites. The bathrooms were nice and fairly clean at the time of our visit. The only thing that caught me off guard was the fact that it appeared to have a a few full time campers. I was curious because when I booked, there was only 2-3 other reservations for different sites during the time we were going to be there so I went on hipcamp to see if I could book a particular site that was already occupied by a full time RVer and hip camp was going to let me go through with the booking process for that night. I would be upset if I took the time to look at the map of the park and pick the best site and it be occupied when I showed up. Luckily the site I booked #8, was not preoccupied prior to our arrival. Overall, it was a nice campground with sewer and we will be staying again.

i loved camping on carver ridge very pretty there they have showers restrooms and a laundry center and its not far from the buffalo river will be back to camp again customer service there is wonderful
Our group used two campsites next to each other (8&9). We loved parking our RVs at Casey's place, Carver Ridge Campground, because it was both beautiful and convenient. We spent two days floating the Buffalo River. Day 1 we went from Hasty Access to Carver, and the next day we went from Carver to Mt. Hersey. The campground was less than a mile from the river.
The camping spaces were large with an amazing view and the bathrooms are spacious and sparkling clean.
We would definitely camp here again.

It was a great place to park our Airstream BC! Communication was great and the host was friendly when he came by to check on us in the evening. Restrooms are well-lit and conveniently located in the middle of all the sites as is the covered pavilion. It is a small park and all of the sites are in one loop with sites 1-7 being opposite of the main road, sites 8-11 along the back of the property (backed by the most trees) and 12+ are on the same side as the main road. We stayed in 12 which was good, but next time I’ll choose 8-11 to lessen road noise and provide a prettier view. Overall a great stay, we will be back!

Very nice campground! Will definitely be back. Site 8 was exceptionally nice with a nice shade and a great view!
Personal opinion: Site 8 is the best way to go! There was tree shade, and lots of room! We had an awesome time here at this campground. Carl their groundskeeper was very nice & told us a little bit about the place! This is a perfect place in between some of the larger cities around the area. We will definitely recommend to others! Thanks Casey!

Great place to set up and explore the area. Very helpful and responsive to all your needs. The fact that they supply water, electric and sewer is a huge plus for the area. Don't hesitate, book.
This was the second time staying at site 8 and we absolutely love everything this RV and Tent Campground has to offer. We have been able to float both the Upper Buffalo and now Middle Buffalo with a 30 min or less drive to so many outfitters! You have cell reception at site and most of the drive to nearby amenities. There’s an abundance of things to do from multiple swimming holes right around the corner for the non boaters to trails and other nature sight seeing within such a short drive. It’s honestly just a great home base for those who love to adventure in the area! Carl the groundskeeper is always welcoming, helps you feel safe and keeps the multiple bathrooms clean and stocked with good the good TP (no single ply here!). I am excited to see the upcoming additions to the property like the washers and dryers! We hope to return in the fall and look forward to seeing what the mountains and trees look like changing then! Thanks again Casey for such an amazing place to call home away from home!

Excellent campsite! Full hookups, flush toilets and showers. All new and cleans! Very close to Carver/Buffalo river access. Casey was very helpful in answering all of my questions prior to our stay and allowed us to move campsites once we arrived to allow for some space between us and the other campers.

Was a great spot to camp after floating the Buffalo. Our takeout was Hasty that day and it was under a 10 minute drive to the campsite. Bath house had great showers and each campsite had water and power hookups. There was even a campground hand that was happy to help and answer our questions. Would absolutely stay again!
My group of 4 tent camped at site 8 which has the most amazing views of the mountains! All sites are a short walk to the bath house, which has showers and flush toilets! You are a short drive to pretty much anything the Buffalo River has to offer but specifically Carver launch point, about a five minute drive, has a wonderful little swimming hole and gravel beach to enjoy the river and sun! There is an on site attendant that is beyond helpful, and showed us where we could find extra chopped firewood for our campfires! There’s also great sized charcoal grills if you’d rather use those! Phone signal maintained phone calls well, and allowed for most online function’s. With electric, water and sewer for RV’s and spacious gravel pads, that seemed level, they really can accommodate just about anyone. There is also spacious grassy areas for your two or four legged kids, I think the sign said they can even accommodate horses but I’d verify that first! ! I am already planning my next trip and will be booking Carver Ridge for sure!
We had a great time at Carver Ridge, texted looking for a fire ring and one was delivered in about ten minutes.
