Where to begin! From the moment we booked our site at Sacred Springs, Gary and Daren were thoughtful, communicative, flexible and seemingly the kindest hosts. While all that remained true throughout our stay, it doesn’t even begin to describe the level of wonderful that is Gary and Daren. They have expertly crafted the vibes at Sacred Springs - from your tour in the beginning, the lighting throughout the property at night, the beautiful walk down to the grotto, where you’re welcomed with art supplies and a craft table, down to the creek where you’ll find the most comfortable hammocks, a plethora of kayaks and paddle boards, and the most beautiful rock formations where the water reflects onto, in their community room they have thought of EVERYTHING you may need, the hot shower you can take or the refreshing solar shower (by the way, they provide towels and they smell SO GOOD), a pristine outdoor bathroom, the campsite was perfect - overlooking the ridge, equipped with multiple size grills for cooking over, they have created several sitting spaces around the property that are so intentional and perfect for sunrise, sunset, a romantic moment or simply a restful sit. We had the pleasure of chatting with Gary and Daren throughout our trip and they felt like friends we had known previously. I cannot speak highly enough about our stay at Sacred Springs. We left feeling rejuvenated and already planning our return. Thank you Gary and Daren for creating such a wonderful space 🤍

Sacred Springs is such a special spot. You can feel the peaceful energy of the land the moment you arrive. It’s beautiful, quiet, and the perfect place to unplug and spend time in nature.
The hosts have created such a thoughtful space for campers. There are paddle boards right by the water, fun rock painting, hot showers, and a fully stocked community room that makes everything feel comfortable and welcoming. It’s clear a lot of love has gone into making this place special for guests.
I absolutely loved my stay here and already can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for a peaceful and unique place to camp, Sacred Springs is a little gem. Highly recommend

First time booking anything like this so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Start to finish it was amazing. Gary greeted us at the gate even as we got turned around from a flooded road (which he’d advised us of but I just didn’t read carefully lol) and showed us around all the amenities at the camp site. You could practically show up in your car with just your change of clothes, there’s everything you can think of. Gary and Darren were always available accommodating for the cold snap, and our incessant need for firewood. The paddle boarding was really fun and the rest of the site was beautiful. It didn’t feel like a hotel it felt like you were crashing at your friends place it was such a warm and welcoming environment and very relaxing.

Oh boy, my partner and I could not have enjoyed this place more! Such a beautiful, intentional and inviting space. Gary and Daren are wonderful people who made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home! The stars at night were unbelievable, community room had literally everything we could ever need and more, and the space heater above the toilet changed my life. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We love coming to Sacred Springs, every time we need a break from the city and the valley and need to get back to nature and reset, it’s off to see Gary and Daren. Amazing place, amazing vibe, amazing hosts, amazing everything! We just got home and already can’t wait to be back!

Staying with Gary & Daren was the best! Very responsive hosts who genuinely care about your stay. The campsite itself has literally everything you need like a kitchen, paddle boards, games, fresh eggs, and little nooks to discover. Would certainly come again.

Sacred Springs is truly one of those places that stays with your heart long after you leave. From the moment I arrived, I felt wrapped in peace, love, and nature’s magic. Being able to cook a meal in the community room made everything feel so homey and special — like gathering with family in the middle of the wilderness.
One of my favorite moments was getting to use the kayaks and paddle boards on the lazy river and in the grotto. Floating through that serene canyon water felt like stepping into a hidden paradise. And don’t even get me started on the fresh organic chicken eggs — absolutely delicious and such a beautiful touch of farm-to-table love!🍳
I also couldn’t resist the adorable Sacred Springs hat and sweatshirt — they’re not just cute, they feel like a little piece of this magical place I get to take home with me.🥰
Gary and Daren have created something truly sacred here — a place full of heart, beauty, and genuine care for every soul who visits. I’m so grateful for this experience and can’t wait to come back again and again. 💗

Cliffside Camp - Sacred Springs
Sacred Springs is truly a hidden gem. Gary and Daren are amazing hosts and have done a wonderful job with making it a great a experience. You get a nice outdoors experience while also having some basic amenities like showers and a community kitchen. Daren is also extremely kind and helpful. I would highly recommend people to come and stay at Sacred Springs!

What a beautiful spot! Gary and Daren have thought of everything. We appreciated the hot shower, all the amenities in the community area, and the gorgeous view over the creek in the morning. Highly recommend this spot, we would love to come back the next time we're in Arizona.

We had a lovely stay at Gary and Daren’s! The views were lovely, and there were lots of little nature walks around the area which were peaceful and quaint. The facilities were great! Hot showers, and a nice little common room with cooking facilities, water, towels, dishes, coffee, etc. Gary was very welcoming and accommodating. There’s lots of attention to detail and love invested in this space! We would definitely stay here again!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at sacred Springs. But before I get to the property, let me tell you about the hosts. We had first planned on going to the property a month ago and had some serious car troubles that made that journey impossible.
I’m pretty cynical, so typically anywhere that I’ve paid some amount of money to put a deposit down and circumstances have come up that impacted our ability to get somewhere ,not the place we were going, I usually just consider the deposit given as a loss. Never to be see again. “ thanks for playing, but sorry we have to keep your money because we are uncaring un-empathetic, greedy bastards.” That was not even remotely close to the experience we had BEFORE even making it there.
We reached out to inform Gary and Darrell that we would be unable to make it, sadly but would be looking forward to coming in the future. These remarkable gentlemen who were so kind throughout the entire communication process before we even booked, continued this kindness and added empathy and sympathy for our situation. Still emailing and talking to us while we were in the midst of a horrific experience with our vehicle, not near our home and dealing with the costs and every other negative you could have.
These two were like a ray of sunshine. Their gracious and sincere words in the emails and their hospitality and generosity is like nothing I’ve seen in years… decades even.
They refunded us and offered a complimentary stay.

Beautiful, well-maintained property overlooking I-17. My wife and I only stayed for a short time, but it was great! There was a hot shower and a flush toilet, which was a savior considering that our campervan's toilet wasn't working (don't rent a van from IndieCampers). There were a bunch of other amenities provided as well, and Gary was super nice and welcoming.
The ONLY thing I think could be improved is that my tired brain could not figure out which direction to turn the faucet in the shower for hot water, but that was mostly my fault 😁

Our group of 4 absolutely loved this beautiful campsite for its scenic views, spacious site, and fun trail that led down to the creek. We were happily surprised by all of the paddle boards and kayaks readily available for us to use as a group of 4 to explore the water and gorgeous fall colors!
Gary is hands down the best host with how attentive, caring, and kind he was to us. My husband and I didn’t have the best sleeping bags for the 40-degree nights, so Gary was kind enough to let us borrow 2 sleeping bags that allowed us to sleep so much better the second night of our stay. We cannot wait to come back to Sacred Springs again soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sacred Springs. Gary and Daren have created a very special place with great energy. You can tell they love this place and want their guests to enjoy it as much as they do.
They are happy to make recommendations for great hikes and adventures in the local area or you can just hang out and swim, kayak or paddle board in their beautiful creek front riparian area.
My only concern was the proximity to the freeway and the noise associated with it. But I can honestly say that it didn’t bother me or keep me up at all. If anything it was a nice reminder to be grateful that I was chillin’ at Sacred Springs rather than out there on the roads.
I am already looking forward to my next visit to the area, and staying again at Sacred Springs.

Our stay at Sacred Spring was absolutely wonderful! From the very beginning, our hosts Gary and Daren were exceptional — incredibly kind, thoughtful, and great communicators both before and during our visit. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate my birthday weekend with family, making extra accommodations that made the trip feel truly special.
The property itself is magical. The sunsets were breathtaking, the land peaceful and full of beauty. We loved exploring the hike down to the canyon and creek — it felt like a hidden paradise. The paddle boards and kayak added so much fun to our days, and every part of the stay felt relaxing and rejuvenating.
You can tell Gary and Daren pour their hearts into this place. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, adventure, and serenity. We can’t wait to come back! 🌿✨

Love love love!! This was one of the best campsites I’ve managed to stay at during my travels. Lovely hosts, great bathroom with overhead shower, clean toilets, a super cool communal room with coffee and cooled water cooler, along with cooking materials for the onsite grill. Lots of cool trails, fauna and flora plus tons of hummingbirds and other wildlife to see. The creek was pretty and everything was very peaceful and quiet. The gravel roads to get there were totally worth every minute. Thanks so much Gary and Daren! I’ll be back here next time I’m in Sedona 🩷

Gary and Daren are living their dream and it shows in every detail. The bathroom and showers were clean and stocked, the coffee selection was outstanding, they have everything you need to good a good meal and we even told him the ladder golf needed fixing and he had it fixed within hours. I literally didn’t want to leave. It’s an absolutely magical here and I feel grateful I was able to experience all this beauty. Also the creek was beautiful and refreshing! We’ll definitely be back!

Cliffside Camp - Sacred Springs
We had a blast at Secret Springs, lovely maintained land and tons of amenities. We came from a long hike in Grand Canyon and got fully recharged on the land of Gary and Daren. Next morning we had tons of fun in the creek with the canoes and the natural water swimming. Highly recommended stay!
