Enjoy RV camping on a beautiful half acre ranch space located just a few feet from the access to Cienega nature preserve and a short drive to Saguaro national park. This Vail property is friendly to all pets and horses and has wonderful trails for hiking, riding, ATV, and biking. Dirt space is semi graded and partially fenced with access from evening sun trail and a multi connection electrical pedestal and full service water hook up and septic intake. This space is private but shares the property with a house on east side that has its own fenced off yard and is the address of property and rented out separately. Sniper rifle range roughly 200 meters available on preserve with metal plate targets at set distances. Message for details. 4x4 or ATV/horse needed for access. Houses on other 1 acre lots share the neighborhood and nature is a stones throw to the east in the form of the nature preserveSite is equipped with full electrical hookup, city water hookup, septic, and private drive. Good 5G WiFi username and password available upon request complimentary with stay. Area is close to nature preserve and also 10 minute drive from Vail Safeway. Very close to freeway and off a short dirt road which can vary in roughness depending on time of year. The desert night sky is beautiful here and the ocotillo greet you as you pass by. With all amenities present, this is more backyard stage camping than pure wilderness. The site is located in a Rural neighborhood of 1 acre properties and is adjacent to the Cienega nature preserve which is amazing for UTV and horseback riding. Two access trails exist at the beginning and end of morning dew trail. The This campsite is best reached by searching 12644 s evening sun trail and turning onto the property across the road from that which is the back of 12620 s morning dew trail. See pic. There is a flagpole above the electric pedestal for location reference. The light on which can be turned on and off at the breaker there at will. The septic hookup is a 4” standard ABS going to underground unit. Whole area marked in pic and within fence line is available for use to park and store vehicles, corral horses, or set up RV. Long range rifle target shooting location on preserve available upon request. 4x4 or atv required to get to. Has nest and metal targets set up at varying distances going to 200m. ***Evening sun trail can be a rough road, if you have an RV and need an easier way in, let me know and we will open up the driveway through from morning dew trail on the east side of property.

Amazing place!

Our first HipCamp, and we couldn't be happier! Full hookups, privacy, fenced in area! Road in was a bit rough, but well worth it. Cacti all over! It was a perfect jumpoff for Tucson and Saguaro NP. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. May honestly come back again. T-Mobile service was perfect.

Our stay was okay. There was no warning as to what the roads were going to look like. You could take low vehicles but I wouldn’t recommend. The roads can be confusing. If you want privacy, this isn’t the place. It’s a little dirt lot in the middle of a little mobile home park area. It was nice to have water and electricity and an overhead light as we were tent camping, but if you are tenting the lot is a little rocky. Overall okay experience, just wasn’t expecting the roads to be so rough and confusing, and for us to just pull up to a parking random dirt lot with a huge hole in the middle.
