Camp Amenities We’ve thoughtfully designed our camp to ensure a convenient and enjoyable stay: Outdoor Kitchens: Two fully equipped kitchens with propane BBQ, stove, cookware, dishes, and utensils. Flushing toilets, hot showers and two stocked kitchens. Hot Tub: Soak under the stars for $5 per person per use, or $12 per person for unlimited hot tub (and a towel) and BBQ access during your stay. Front Mesa View Field Camping

We have 3 acres total and welcome guests to spread out in the front two quadrants of the campground gras fields (first two squares of the YIN YANG landscaping) or in the back field behind the bathhouse. Please look at map!! The only specifically reserved spots are those with platforms and POWER podiums and WATER SPIGOTS. These are clearly marked as RV-Van spots and have a slightly higher price tag for the extra amenities. Our campground can hold about 5-7 parties in the front field and 5 parties in the back. We have a bathhouse with one shower and two toilets. We also have a coffee kitchen in the center and another kitchen near the entrance of the camp. A hot tub can be found near the bathhouse, as well as the BBQ and shade area. We have a hammock area for chilling out in near the GLAMP tent. This is for everyone to use. PLATFORMS are reserved for those who book power/water sites. If no one has booked them, feel free to use the platforms for yoga or chilling. Just be sensitive to those who have booked them and move if someone comes who has booked those. When you arrive pick a spot to set up and leave stuff at the camp when you head out for the day so that spot is yours when you get back. Make sure to DROP YOUR TENT for winds. We have freak dust devils. We have some blocks around the camp with numbers painted on them that you can use to save your area as well. These blocks also work great if a big windstorm comes in. YES, we are in the desert so we get wind, flood like storms and dust devils that can which through camp. Please secure your things or simply drop your tent when you head out for the day so it's there when you get back. We are not responsible for broken poles or missing rain flies! We will do our best to grab things if they fly but we can't guarantee anything, so make sure to keep things close to the ground when you leave for the day. We offer a very safe campground and we have someone on site everyday keeping an eye on things. All of our neighbors are friendly and love our camp! We hope you do too. We are LGBTQ, BIPOC and woman friendly.

The Nest: Tiny Home
I had a fantastic time in the Tiny Home at Land Beyond Zion. The place is very cozy, with all the amenities I needed. I was able to simply relax, drive up into Zion a few times, and work a little (great internet) over the course of four days. Shanti was very responsive, quick to answer questions and offer tips. Land Beyond Zion is all about community… It shows that a lot of love & labor went into creating that wonderful land. The campground itself is very unique! Views are unbelievable in all directions with mesas all around you, and the sunrises + sunsets melt! There’s 2 fully stocked kitchens for easy cooking, clean heated bathrooms, community fire pits, hammocks, and lots of gentle lighting throughout the property to lead the way + make you feel safe. Relaxing in the hot tub under the stars was probably my favorite part! You’ll never want to leave! Especially, with how close you are to all the action - Zion, Kolob Canyons, Pink Coral Sands, Water Canyon, etx. It’s even not too far from Horseshoe Bend + Lake Powell, too!

A camp I’ll be returning to! A fully equipped outdoor kitchen (the hot water kettle was a great surprise for a cold morning). The bathroom and shower was clean and an easy walk from any site. I appreciated the wooden platform as it was a rainy night and it kept me dry and off the ground. A great experience overall for sure!

This was such a special place! We stayed at Shanti's for two nights and parked our camper van in a tent spot and had a really great time! There were two kitchens, two clean toilets, and a spacious shower. Stargazing from the hot tub was such a lovely experience. If you're looking to be in community with other travelers, it's easy to do so but it's a big enough space that you can also keep to yourself if you'd prefer.

Friendly, creative vibe, unlike any campground we’ve ever stayed at. Very neat, clean and tidy. If you enjoy hostel traveling (meeting others) this has a similar atmosphere, as the toilets, showers and shaded hang-out spaces are in a core area, along with a very nice kitchen hut. Campsites are quite well spaced out. We tent camped, but there were some great “glamping” options available. Though it’s a hike from Zion, the drive is pretty gorgeous, and with such a WAY reasonable price, we would totally stay here next visit. We would highly recommend getting in before sunset, as the drive here from Zion is of course through a very dark desert.

This was a wonderful stay. They had clean amenities including a hot shower and flush toilets. The site was well lit and had plenty of seating so we could always find a good place to hang out in the shade. The wind was fierce here in the afternoons, but it helped make the heat not feel as bad. The Glamp Tent was cozy, had great WiFi connection and outlets which we weren’t expecting but was a great plus. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! There were quite a few dogs and roosters a few miles out that were loud throughout the night, so I would recommend earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

We loved this site, we came in really late after a long drive from the grand canyon on our way to zion. We didn't really know where to set up but picked a spot in the middle and when we woke up got to see how beautiful it was around us. They had a shower, toilet, an out door kitchen. If we had our group of friends with us with would have been a perfect spot for our group.

Great spot to camp either in your car or in a tent. Bathrooms were clean and all the campgrounds were also clean. The location is about an 1 hour from Zion national park but really close to the sand dunes. There is also a ton of food spots around that are great.

Loved the Writers nook. It was cute and around the area we needed. The grocery store a little down the road was amazing. I would say that while quiet, there is quite a bit of road noise....whether its trucks or ATV'S and it happens all night. Also there are these tiny sharp plant seeds that will stab you through your shoes so definitely no sandals. Overall I loved the experience and the view was wonderful.

We had a great stay at Shanti’s. The outdoor kitchen was lovely and our kids really enjoyed the rock wall. It was also nice to have some shady places to hang out in on the really hot days. The location was great as well with a creek hike nearby and a place to get spring water. It was a bit noisy being next to the road in an area with a lot of off roading vehicles, but I imagine the busy-ness of 4th of July added to that.

It was my second night solo camping in a tent, as a female. I found the other guests were friendly and excited by the hosts values/ inclusivity. I felt the setup was spacious, thoughtful, and comfortable and clean. Really enjoyed having a full kitchen and stove to cook dinner. WiFi was super fast. Pearl was nice and helpful. I stayed a second night because I felt safe by myself there. Pearl is from the area and visits daily and lives a couple miles down the road and said the area is safe. Also, the site is not visible from the road, and there are security cameras on site. Some dog barking and road noise at night but I would definitely stay there again.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about staying here. It was beautiful and Shanti was so sweet and accommodating. The site was clean and had beautiful views. I would stay here again!

The Nest: Tiny Home
My 13 year old daughter and I stayed at the campsite, in The Nest tiny home, as part of a multi-day mother daughter adventure. Shanti and her team have clearly put a lot of thought and care into the entire site - both the functionality, how it fits into the desert environment, and their commitment to community - both local and guests. Both The Nest and the broader campsite are well equipped, with beautiful surrounding views. A hot tub soak under a full desert moon is a magical way to end a day! Easy to find, thanks to clear directions. Responsive host fielded questions leading up to and during our visit. Would definitely return and recommend to others!
