We have an 80-acre Organic Medjool Date farm located at the base of the Gila Mountains in Wellton, AZ. We are a bit off the beaten path but once you get here it's so worth the drive. The star gazing is amazing and if you like off-roading there are trails everywhere out here! We have an onsite Brewery and restaurant, open seasonally to guests and to the public. High Tanks Brewing Co is open November-April, Thu-Sun. Throughout this season we offer many fun things to do such as farm tours, live music, cornhole tournaments, yoga, farm-to-table style dinners, and much more. Cool place to camp. Bit of a washboard road to get there, but certainly worth it. We arrived late and had to leave early, so we were sad to miss the excellent looking food and beer menus at the adjacent brewery. The 'portable toilets' are nice, clean trailer bathrooms, not plastic port-a-potties.

This was one of the most wonderful and charming trips we’ve been on. Amazing fresh food, great beer, and the camping setup was superb! The stars were incredible. We can’t wait to come back!

the camp was very cute, the bed perfect. the host very accommodating. food on site and they provide a propane fire for smores! they also have a heater in the tent! the playground wasn’t sturdy and the bathroom soap wasn’t working but apart from that it’s great for kids to run around and play! nice desert getaway!

We truly enjoyed parking among the Date Palm trees for the evening. Watching the sun set and rise over the trees was beautiful. We were disappointed the brewery was not open the night we were there as it looks like a fun place.

Exceeded expectations! Worth the trip, magical place. Dancing to music under the moon, curling up in the most comfortable bed in a warm Yurt. We can’t stop talking about this amazing experience. A bucket list MIST.

This place was great. A real surprise out in the desert. We upgraded to one of the canvas tents and it was spacious and cozy. Cold desert night, but the heaters and blankets kept us warm. Staff was very helpful, when needed. Restaurant and bar were nice to have and popular. The brews were delish. Seems like this spot is headed in the right direction! Loved it

It was a very lovely time staying there. We ordered a charcuterie board but there was too many carbs and not enough vegetables or fruit. Everything else was wonderful.

This is technically our third stay, and what stands out is the beautiful and tidy surroundings, the surprise open air restaurant and beer taps, live (good) music on weekends and the hosts' desire to ensure needs were accommodated regarding site selection. They seem to be expanding a developing with more events, partnerships, yurts and upgrades to common areas all the time. This is our favourite Hip Camp location.

This was AMAZING. me and my wife enjoyed the space so much. it was the quiet for us. as moms getting away mothers day weekend was a must and this was the perfect place to do it. we would come back without a doubt. thanks so much misty. <3

It’s a beautiful, large date farm! Great communal space with a restaurant and brewery. Unfortunately, we didn’t read quite closely enough to see that the restaurant, etc. is only open Thursday-Sunday! Misty seemed quite surprised when we arrived to camp. I think we were the only campers. And we never saw Misty - or anyone again! We parked our van out amongst the palms and it was quite peaceful - except for the compressor which runs on and off all the time. It does have flushing toilets and sinks. It looks like it could be quite fun if it’s Thursday through Sunday.

Well, the bed was comfortable...
DIXIE - Vintage Trailer
The location of the trailer was not as directed (it was not on the west side of a building 35' from the gate). We drove around for several minutes before someone came out and directed us to the trailer. (Which we'd seen but weren't sure it was correct due to the directions provided.) It was a hot day in AZ, and the trailer was over 100 degrees when we opened it up. We think the windows should have been opened so it wouldn't have been so hot upon arrival. The listing says potable water available. We got into the trailer and tried to drink the water from the kitchen faucet but it tasted bad. We texted the host and asked about the potable water. We did not get a response for a few hours and went to bed. In the morning we saw that "available" meant the water was in a dispenser by the large building. This place offers music and dining on specific nights of the week. This was not one of them. That's probably for the best because the trailer was close to that area and it may have been too loud for us. The worst thing about this site was the lack of timely response regarding the water. Oh, and I didn't realize until I was booking it that there was a cleaning fee and a fee for the dog. Maybe I missed that in the listing or maybe it wasn't part of the listing. It drove the price up quite a bit. The trailer was cute and the bed was very comfortable. The shower flow was pretty weak.

We spent 3 wonderful nights in the date palm orchard. It was close enough to small towns to visit and get groceries. The bathrooms were clean and updated.

I really enjoyed glamping at Naked Dates in one of Misty’s tents! We brought our dogs and we all had a really great time hanging around the brewery and checking out the local trails. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway.

Really cool backdrop, cute brewery/restaurant. The only negative is it’s a long dirt road to get to the farm and it made us a little nervous not having 4WD and towing our trailer it got a little bumpy. The place itself is great!
