Great atmosphere and at High Tanks!

We had a group off 8 people staying in 4 Yurts at the High Tanks/Naked Date Farm. Had a wonderful time. The Yurts were clean and nicely decorated. Everything we all needed for a Valentine weekend. The people working there were all very kind and went above and beyond making us coffee and donuts in the morning. I highly recommend this place and will make a point to stay again.

Incredibly relaxing evening under the stars! Perfect weather for this type of event; the tent was very clean and comfortable, with everything we could have needed for outdoor sleeping. Will absolutely do this again! ❤️

Glamping Tent 5 - Desert Dweller

We had a great time glamping, the Yurts were amazing, very clean and enough extra blankets in case they were required. Extra bonus was after all the music and Date beers had gone down relaxing around our own fire pit. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a great date evening or just going with a bunch of friends. 5 stars for sure!

What a peaceful setting

When was the last time you went to a campground and the host's instructions were, "Park anywhere... ?" Sounds like a dream, right? Well when there are endless rows of palm trees now you're faced with TOO MUCH choice! We settled a couple of rows over and well back from another camper and were delighted with the seclusion we enjoyed all night long. We were there on a Friday night, so took advantage of the beer, restaurant and live music through the early evening. Was a fun crowd, lots of chatter and dancing. Things wind down pretty early, so was quiet well before bedtime.

Very cool brewery/farm not too far off the highway. Food and beer were great and everyone was very friendly (especially given I arrived about 1/2 hour before closing). We’ll be back!

The date farm was an interesting place to stay. I came on a day when the brewery and restaurant were not open, though I was able to try their ales and food at their taphouse in town. Food and ales were very good, and their dates were yummy. Misty was out of town, but the person who greeted me was friendly and accommodating. The orchard was an attractive place to camp, but I would be unlikely to stay there again at this time of year. The problem was a row of refrigerated semi trailers too close to the tents and to the RV sites. The trailer's motors run nearly constantly to keep the contents cool. The noise was annoying and the exhaust fumes more so. In that regard it was like sleeping in an overnight semi parking lot. I suspect that the trailers may just be present from harvest until the dates have been delivered to buyers, but that’s just a guess on my part.

A cool and unique opportunity...

Misty & Case are really good folks who have created something very unique in a rural Sonoran Desert community, which they have opened up to share with others. I had the pleasure of rooting down amidst the palms for a few days. Here is my advice: - For those camping more lightly, take some time before committing to a location. Find a spot that works best for your needs. - If you're wanting to be there in a social atmosphere, for entertainment, or when you can purchase beverages/food, make sure you book over days when the brewery is open. - If you are a light sleeper, or are otherwise sensitive to sound, be prepared to put something in your ears at night. The refrigeration for all these dates is a noisy operation. - Be aware that you're on a working farm and business site - keep it clean, organic, and minimally disruptive. I look forward to my next visit. Cheers!

Cute, Comfortable Camping

The host was great and even shared his pizza with us! We weren't there when the Brewery was open but they still let us purchase some beer. The tent was cute, clean and comfortable! The space heater made it nice and cozy and the views were beautiful. Would definitely stay again!

Cool place to camp. Bit of a washboard road to get there, but certainly worth it. We arrived late and had to leave early, so we were sad to miss the excellent looking food and beer menus at the adjacent brewery. The 'portable toilets' are nice, clean trailer bathrooms, not plastic port-a-potties.

the camp was very cute, the bed perfect. the host very accommodating. food on site and they provide a propane fire for smores! they also have a heater in the tent! the playground wasn’t sturdy and the bathroom soap wasn’t working but apart from that it’s great for kids to run around and play! nice desert getaway!

Peaceful night among the Palm Trees

We truly enjoyed parking among the Date Palm trees for the evening. Watching the sun set and rise over the trees was beautiful. We were disappointed the brewery was not open the night we were there as it looks like a fun place.

Exceeded expectations! Worth the trip, magical place. Dancing to music under the moon, curling up in the most comfortable bed in a warm Yurt. We can’t stop talking about this amazing experience. A bucket list MIST.

Date Night on a Date Farm!

This place was great. A real surprise out in the desert. We upgraded to one of the canvas tents and it was spacious and cozy. Cold desert night, but the heaters and blankets kept us warm. Staff was very helpful, when needed. Restaurant and bar were nice to have and popular. The brews were delish. Seems like this spot is headed in the right direction! Loved it
