This place is so cool! And welcoming, convenient and safe. The grounds (whilst still a work in progress) are beautiful and clean, Matthew is warm, friendly and beyond informative and the missle silo is very unique and interesting! Very conveniently off 70 for those quick stays but also has Lake Wilson nearby for hikes, bikes and water adventures. I would strongly recommend and plan to come back to see how Matthew evolves and develops the property and experience!

Highly recommend this unique campsite. Matthew is very kind and accommodating. He gave us dinner recommendations and a tour of his land. We ended the night with a camp fire with fellow campers

Our family greatly enjoyed the stay at the missile silo. The views and sunsets are fantastic. The tour of the silo was very interesting and the host is very knowledgeable about the subject matter. His vision for the future development of the silo is inspiring and infectious. All the adults in the family were just about ready to quit our jobs and join him! :) The host was also helpful recommending places to eat in the area.

We were all very charmed by Wilson and the surrounding towns. We enjoyed eating at the local restaurants almost as much as the camping. Wilson lake is a beauty. I couldn't get over how clean everything is in this area. The locals seem to take great pride in their community.

The site is on smooth hills surrounded by farmland and wind turbines, with plenty of secluded spots to pitch a tent. Be sure to go on Matthew’s tour of the underground silo!

Matthew was a great host, the camping was fun, and the landscape was beautiful. Best part about the trip, however, was the tour of the missile silo. It was incredibly interesting, and Matthew did a wonderful job of weaving Cold War history and his own vision for the site into the tour. My family and I would definitely like to return.

Matt is an excellent host and tour guide. The Silo is amazing for photographs and on top of it all you can sleep on a beautiful stretch of the Kansas prairie. We stopped for the night while driving cross country from New Jersey to California and it was the best campground we stayed at.

This was an amazing stop on the trip across Kansas. The above ground and subterranean tour of the silo area with the host was a great way to end the day. Not only did I sleep really well, but I also got smarter.
This place is a must!
