**Please Note - Due to flooding damage last winter we lost our water supply to the bush baths and showers so they are unavailable until further notice. Please message us if unsure. Thank you for your patience.** This property has 70 acres of lush Karri forest with the original old logging trails from approximately 100 years ago, which make for beautiful nature walks. The track through the forest, for the main campsite is about 3.5m wide and and can get a little slippery so caution is needed but can be done in small and large vehicles (probably not big RV). There is open air bath and shower which is heated from an old brae-mar hot water system. There is one transportable long drop toilet near the site and a fire pit for cooking and sitting around but other from that you have to be self sufficient. There is access to drinking water.. If the campsite is unavailable or you don't won't to drive through the forest, you are welcome to set up camp on the green pasture on the hill with great views but there are NO amenities there and you would have to be completely self-contained. We are approximately a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Greens pool and Elephant Rocks beach, and about 15 minutes' drive to the town of Denmark, WA. Pets on leashes are welcome. Our property located near Pemberton and Northcliffe offers only 3 exclusive campsites to maintain the serenity of the area. There are plenty of activities on site including swimming, kayaking, bushwalking, bird watching or simply soaking it all in. We are also surrounded by an abundance of local activities close by. For the avid four-wheel driver, the infamous Calcup Hill is only 20 minutes from the gate. For water lovers, Windy Harbour is a short drive away, as is the beautiful Lake Jasper and many other hidden gems of the South West. If you are after some family-friendly activities, the Northcliffe Pioneer Museum is a good stop for local history, as well as the Gloucester Tree and Bicentennial Tree for a climb or wander along the trails. Depending on the time of year for your visit, we may even have some fresh produce for you to try or buy! All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go. Please note, you are required to bring and use a portable toilet. We are unable to accommodate those without, and to turn away may offend.

Blackwood Ridge Nature Park

Blackwood Ridge Nature Park is situated on the Roebank property and as party of the first settlement in this area, both Roebank and the neighbouring Peninsula House have historical significance in Bridgetown. The Roebank Cottage was built in 1890 by the grand-daughter of John Septimus Roe who was a famous civil engineer contributing to the original town planning of Perth City and Roebourne. In the early days, Roebank was used for livestock grazing and had the largest shearing shed this side of Bridgetown used by the neighbouring farmers. Over the years the property has been used as a pear orchard, goat farm and other small farming activities. Today the property operates as a family hobby farm with short-stay accommodation along the river residences and nature park sites on the high points offering scenic views of the valley.

It is a quiet, secluded and peaceful area with abundant wildlife, tree plantations, orchards and seasonal vegetables. There is plenty to see and do in the surround areas, you can check out the amazing Yeagarup Dunes nearby that rise metres above the surrounding karri forest. They are the largest land-locked mobile dune system in the southern hemisphere. You can explore by foot or by 4WD if you are an experienced driver. Yeagarup Lake is a gateway to the dunes and a great place to stop and enjoy a picnic by the water. The Greater Beedelup National Park is nearby where you can explore the many walking trails and check out the Beedalup Falls. Campers must have their own toilet facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome when no restrictions are in place. Sorry, no pets.

We are fortunate to have the Warren National Park on our doorstep, and a commercial license to operate tours and camping in our National Parks. Graeme and I started WA Wilderness in 2014 as part of our 'Pemberton Discovery Tours' when the then 'Department of Conservation' realised that there were a lot of people who don't do camping due to a multitude of factors; these include: Time, Lack of Equipment, Newbie's who want to 'give it a go' before investing in expensive camping equipment and even baby moons, or camping with little children when every inch of space in the car is precious. So, we operate in the Warren National Park, it is some 8000Ha of National Park and stunningly beautiful Karri Forest, our campsites are located near the Warren River and are separate, so although you may see other campers you are not on top of each other. We set up everything for you, so all you have to do is turn up with your food and your family. To keep our pricing down we offer optional linen, so you can choose to bring your favourite doona. The sites are also unpowered however we offer 12V lighting and the option for a portable toilet. (There is a toilet on site as well.) There are steps leading into the river, the perfect place to paddle or dip your feet. We have a maximum of 8 sites on location here so there is plenty of space for privacy. We are only 15 minutes from the beautiful town of Pemberton, complete with wineries, galleries, restaurants, shopping and much more! You may also wish to join a tour or two - the Pemberton Tram runs daily, and we give you mates rates on our tours. We find our camps are perfect for busy people, who wish to try / go camping and value the opportunity to turn up to a complete camp, set up for you to enjoy from the start.

There are many things to do in the area such as visits to lane pool falls, the Boorara tree, mount Chudalup, Windy Harbour, take advantage of the many 4WD tracks through the d’Encastraux National Park or catch up with some of the local history at the Northcliffe Museum. Pemberton is also close by and offers winery visits with long relaxing lunches This park caters for only fully self contained travellers, so therefore must provide their own toilet, shower, water and cooking facilities. We do provide rubbish disposal and your pets are welcome but we do ask that you clean up after them. The nearest dump point for waste disposal and potable water is at the Northcliffe Visitor Centre. The iconic Quinninup Tavern is 7km south. We are a 40 minute drive to Windy Harbour. Our Land is 70 acres of mostly native bush with large Karri trees surrounding the beautiful views of the Irwin Inlet. The area cleared is where the original Benson Family lived. The house was burnt down and they then left. We moved up here 40 plus years ago and have slowly cleared the area. We are only 7 kms to the wonderful Peaceful Bay where all amount of activities can be taken. Safe swimming, fishing, surfing and boating. The famous Tree Top Walk is approximately 20 kms away, with the local Bow Bridge Roadhouse 5 mins away.Also located at Peaceful Bay are the famous local fresh fish and chips. We are situated approximately half way between Walpole and Denmark. All of our sites have views of the Irwin Inlet. As we use dam water for watering our garden we do have open dams near by. Just wanted all guests to be aware of this. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed on leash. Campfires are allowed as long as they are in a contained drum unless there is a total fire ban. We would let you know if this was the case. We have fire pits to hire for $15
