Bunk it, BEYOND camping. Nature, except with real beds, heat, air, and electricity! Intimate space for friends or family to hang out together. Space outside includes a picnic area, entertainment area, play area, grill, and campfire. Space inside includes a King, and full size bed. Kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, sink, plates and silverware. The bath has a toilet and shower. Water is supplied by filtered rainwater. There is a BBQ grill outside with a burner for cooking. Lots of outside space for hanging out together, yet sleep in comfort. Well behaved pets and children welcome.

Just down the road is the lake and the "Bait House" was actually a shed where they sold bait. Completely renovated, rustic, yet comfy and cozy with a unique outdoor shower off the bathroom it is a one of a kind tiny house. Appropriately decorated with a charming fishing theme, it's a story all it's own. The property has lots of outdoors, an entertainment area, picnic tables, plenty of chairs for hanging out or enjoying the fantastic sunsets, a firepit, fun play fort, and sandbox.

Access to a shared bathhouse with composting toilet, hot shower, and outdoor sink is a little distance away. This is a great spot if you have a tent on vehicle or are camping from your car. It is in a section of the property where RVs are parked.

Get away from the city, enjoy tent camping, under the stars, in a safe environment. Shady sites in the trees with a fire ring at the sites. Limited campers allowed, so plenty of room to spread out. The 6.5 acres is fenced and gated for your safety. The lake is only 1.5mi away where there is access for fishing, kayaking, swimming and a boat ramp. Camping is primative without electricity. There is a camp bathhouse with hot water, private shower and composting toilet. Parking is 200 ft away. a short minute down the meadow to a shady area is our campsite Ponder Pitch your tent campsite under the trees. Campsites are temporarily limited to three sites. We wish to assure all our guests a safe and healthy camping experience. There is a picnic table and a firepit on your site. Camp hosts are ordinarily on site for any questions you may have. Please be courteous and observe our 4 guest limit per site. You may book additional sites (total of three) if you need more spaces.

Bait House

I LOVED the Bait House! It was just the right size for a getaway with myself and my dog. I think 2 adults max would be comfortable here. It had everything I needed and more. The outdoor shower was a delightful experience. The only downside for me was they have chickens and roosters on the property and I was awoken by the cock-a-doodle-do before dawn every morning. The house was is located near a few parks so we were able to enjoy hiking within 10 minutes from the property. Downtown Marble Falls is also about 10 min away if you want local dining experiences, which I did grab takeout from 2 different restaurants while I was there. Overall it was a nice little getaway and great location!

Bait House

The Orrasis was a lovely escape. All natural, peaceful, comfortable. Very eclectic with lots of personality. The butterflies and cardinals were prolific.

Eclipse camping site 1

Kent and his family were such thoughtful and kind hosts! My friend and I camped on their property for the 2024 eclipse, and we had a wonderful experience. :) Not only was the property full of natural beauty, but there were so many creative touches and helpful amenities including a composting toilet and shower. I would definitely come stay again! Thank you for the great stay and for helping make our eclipse experience a memorable one!

I wish i had my own Meander Orrasis

Orrasis "Me Time" tent, Meander

Meander is a lovely site perched so you can look over the landscape below, and the trees are at eye level for early morning bird watching. Great tent windows allow starwatching from the air mattress. The composting toilet is a very nice facility with light and space and decoration, with a sink and mirror outside. The shower is an adjoined structure. Wildflowers abound in April. Orrasis has whimsy and beauty and the hosts are thoughtful and fun.

Eclipse camping site 3

Kent was a great host! Clear and prompt communication as well as extremely welcoming. The campsite was beautiful. It was great having a toilet and shower on the property. We experienced the solar eclipse here and it was an amazing unforgettable moment for all of us.
