Yurt is paused for rentals as we await a new roof! Only the Cabin available for now. Welcome to 28 acres of forests, mountains, creeks, a river and all that comes with it! We live in a little off-grid cabin deep in the Yalakom Valley in a small community of rustic-living and friendly folks. Please note that this property is located 40 km outside of Lillooet. Part of the road is a dirt road and a bit bumpy, best for cars that don't mind roughing it a little bit. You also lose service 5 minutes outside of Lillooet. The property is surrounded by private lots. You can explore ours down to the river or you can drive to other locations like the Horsehoe (a great swim spot), Carpenter Lake (great for swimming, too), Lac La Mere (good for fishing), Carol Lake, and much more. This is a somewhat rustic and rugged spot- if you are looking for fancy glamping this is not the space for you! Vancouverites, you've been warned!

Perched on an elevated forest bench, our glamping yurts both feature a private kitchenette, propane stove, wood-fire stove with ample firewood, mountain spring-fed water, solar-powered amenities, and an eco-friendly composting toilet. This yurt, set 60 meters apart from our one other yurt, shares an outdoor shower with hot pressurized water. A scenic 5-minute hike leads to your semi-private beach—ideal for sunbathing, and swimming. Indulge in an exclusive lakeside private cedar sauna experience for $99. Enjoy a three-hour private session with sauna and beach all to yourself. We provide the ambiance, wood, and ensure unparalleled relaxation. If you would like to enjoy the outdoor propane fire you can use our outdoor propane fire pit for an additional $35 to cover the cost of the propane bottle. Secure parking for one vehicle completes your tranquil escape. Book a yurt today for a harmonious blend of nature, comfort, and seclusion. Although some of the photos on this listing posted by guests have kayaks and paddleboards, you will need to bring your own - they are not provided due to liability and insurance issues - we're sorry about that. 10 acres of untouched beauty! Extremely private with 100’s of acres of crown land on one side & a neighbour with 10 acres on the other. The lake is Caribbean blueish green & clear as glass. There are miles of trails to hike, 4x4, wild forage, or hunt in season. There are a couple other lakes nearby as well as the Fraser River & the Big Bar Ferry. Highly recommend!! One of our favourites is the Jesmond Fire Lookout. It requires a 4x4 vehicle or physical ability to complete a couple hour hike! We are a bit biased but our place is a very special one of a kind spot!
