This land is a six acre slice of property that includes a meadow, wooded areas, a small pine forest, native stones galore, a steep mountain side, giant boulders, a wet weather stream and pond, and 2 old tin barns. From West to East, the property starts flat but then begins to slope upward as it runs from the base of Fitzgerald Mountain Eastward nearly to the top of the mountain. The former homestead was removed within the past 20 years, creating a fantastic spot for the campground. It is located a short distance from Fitzgerald Station, which was a well known stop on Military road (later known as Butterfield stage line) in the 1830’s. The camp is only 2 miles from historic downtown Springdale, which is an area undergoing exciting revitalization. A concrete trail is planned that will connect the camp area to downtown making biking to restaurants and pubs much easier in the near future. The Razorback Greenway runs through downtown, and provides a biking connection to all of Northwest Arknsas.Learn more about this land:Fitzgerald Mountain Van and RV Camp offers 2 RV spots (26' max) with ride in / ride out access to Fitzgerald Mountain's world class trails. The mountain is home to OZ trails mountain biking and hiking for all levels. (look up OZ trails - Fitzgerald Mountain)The 2 van camper/RV spots sit at the base of a shade tree and the entry to the “Goat Trail.” This trail (named for the adjacent goat farm) will lead campers to the campfire area, "Fitzmo Barn", and Butterfield trail. Leave your brand's sticker on the wall so other bikers and hikers can find their way to your hometown spots. Bayyari Park is only 1/3 mile away and has public restrooms that I'm told "remain open until 10:00 PM year round unless there is extreme cold."The only neighbors of the camp have a small farm to the North, and their goats and peacock occasionally visit the camp’s Western field. Other than these neighbors, the area feels secluded, especially at the fire pit and barn area. Fitzgerald is a historical area. Fitzgerald station is nearby, and served as a stop on the Butterfield overland stagecoach mail route that was used in the 1800s. Downtown Springdale is 2 miles away, and the pubs and restaurants cater to bikers. A paved trail is planned for the near future that will provide bike access to downtown.*Note* Backing up to a turn around area will be required for exit from the RV spots.

Hipcamp is a platform for property owners to allow campers onto their property. If you're looking for a commercial campground, we are not it. Great for gravel mountain bikers because we are on the gravel road and you can connect to the riding trails from here. .7miles to The Back 40 trail system 2.3 miles to Slaughter Pen trail system We have a total of 10 acres of grass available to choose from; 9 dispersed sites in "The Meadow" 1 / 50 amp site 8 1 / 30amp site 5 2 / 110 electric sites. There's a bike stand to wash your bikes, community fire pit* to get to know others, clean, flushable toilets, and now with a heated outdoor shower! The creek runs in the spring or after a good rain. A Boutique Cycling Destination Our goal is to provide a clean and comfortable place where cyclists of all kinds can surround themselves with a community of like-minded individuals and a space designed exclusively for cyclists and their needs. We would like to extend the sense of community that we all experience while on the trails to a place where travelers can call home while they are exploring all NW Arkansas has to offer. Due to Zoning Restrictions, we are unable to host Class A, Class C, or any form of pull behinds. Our pads will accommodate up to a 25' rig. We have 30 Amp service located behind each pad and water on site to fill your holding tanks, as you pull in, at the Bike Wash Station. There is NO waste dump on site. This remote primitive campground is between Kingston and Compton, Arkansas. in the Ozark Mountains of the Boston plateau. The wooded 15 acres is nestled just above a scenic bluff looking south. You can set your tent on our grassy knoll or find a random spot anywhere under our hardwoods or pines. There is one designated gravel site pad for a mid size trailer. The only roads to Spoken N’ Tru are gravel. I highly recommend taking the gravel route from Kingston. This particular gravel road is 5 miles. If you are pulling a camper this is definitely the best. There is another longer 8 mile option from 412 - south from Dryfork in between Marble and Ozark. The shortest route if from 103 but it has a deep creek crossing and don't recommended unless you have a good 4 wheel vehicle. The best road to Ponca is County Road 1300 which takes you to Highway 43. Please keep in mind that Spoke N’ Tru is a cozy but primitive camping site with no amenities so be ready to check your electronics before heading down our gravel roads. Lastly, please read amenity notes, especially regarding waste.

1 night at Pea Ridge Bike Camp

This was our second time, and it was fantastic as always. We didn't use the utilities because we pulled in late and left early, but the man taking care of the place came out and helped us start a fire during the night (it was very much appreciated, we were struggling) and he started a fire for us in the morning too! Just above and beyond service, and honestly just a super nice and generous guy. 10/10

Bentonville Bike Camp – Jason & Julie are lifesavers! Our reservation with Koler got completely mixed up, and Jason and Julie at Bike Camp Bentonville truly saved the day. Their property is absolutely perfect—peaceful, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed. The facilities were spotless (the shower and bathroom were such a bonus!), and hookups were incredibly easy. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you, Jason and Julie, for turning our trip around!

Awesome place to camp while in the Bentonville area! Damon's southern hospitality makes you feel right at home. The campground is equipped with hot showers, personal and community fire pits (firewood also included!) and a cool old school bus containing loads of information and maps of the area. Good location if you are looking to check out the vast trail systems in and around Bentonville and Bella Vista .

Stayed a few nights in the little A-frame hut.. and it was perfect!! Great for last minute trips when you don’t have time to pack and set up an entire campsite. Plus the heater kept me warm on chilly nights. The lighting and decor inside was a rly nice touch. Cozy blankets were a big plus too! Can’t wait to return.

Weekend Trip to Riverdream Camps

This was our second stay at Riverdream, and we love it! Beautiful sky without light pollution, no noise from traffic or what I guess you'd call "city life." My husband & I stayed in a tent both trips, and we were comfortable in each site. Toilet/showers are extremely clean and always stocked. Water flow and temperature is great. Kings River is a short mosey away from camp. Berryville on one side, Eureka Springs on the other. The Hosts have always been kind and quick to assist when we needed it. Their land is perfect for a quick weekend getaway, or a lengthy stay. (You won't regret either one.)

Site 1 was beautiful and nicely secluded away from the other campsites. The trails were well-marked and the views were lovely with several vistas and benches to sit on along the trails. We went in the fall so the creek was dry but I can’t wait to come back and explore more in the Spring Jill was a great host - met us when we got there to make sure we had what we needed! Great space, good communication, clean bathrooms and showers. There was firewood available, fresh water for drinking. The camp was close to town, stores and most importantly, good riding. Please remember that the facilities are shared and be respectful of them, try to keep them clean for other campers! This is a reflection of the campers not our great hosts!
