JMA Campground is located about 15 minutes west of Riverton, Wyoming. Outstanding views of the Wind River Mountain Range and the Owl Creek Mountain Range. We do not have trees or green grass - bring your own shade. LOL We have 30 and 50 amp RV sites (each site has water) along with primitive tent sites. Amenities at the park include WiFi, fire pits, firewood, shower and restroom facilities, picnic areas, trash services and a RV dump station available for $15. Visitors can take advantage of the various outdoor activities such as basketball, hiking, biking and stargazing. Our campers enjoy our quiet solitude - we're not located along a busy noisy highway! Jim and I established our place in 1983. We produced team ropings and barrel racing jackpots for nearly 40 years - we no longer produce rodeo events (due to health). In 2017, we decided to share our property with campers - we have cherished each and every moment - we have made so many friends!  From the JMA Campground, it is 50 miles to Thermopolis (hot springs, whitewater rafting, fishing, buffalo, dinosaur museum, etc.); 60 miles to the National Military Museum in Dubois; 130 miles to the South Entrance of Grand Teton National Park; 45 miles to Lander; 70 miles to South Pass City - many other local attractions.

The Granary was exactly what I wanted for a few days of disconnecting and relaxing. Jim and Paulette were very accommodating and just really nice people. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stay there.

Grizzly, Harley and Paulette were great! They were all so fun to meet and so kind to our crazy rescue GWP, Fritz. We would definitely stay again if we are ever going through the area.

We had a wonderful stay at the campground. Jim and Paulette were very welcoming! We highly recommend watching the sunset there and do some stargazing! Wish we had more time to hang out with the animals and play the various lawn games. We would definitely come back!

Everything was super easy! Paulette was incredibly helpful, provided us with an extra chair, a torch, bug spray, and plenty of firewood. The land was awesome, animals around for easy viewing, and the night sky was even better. Would definitely recommend!

We loved camping with Jim and Paulette. We had our 39ft fifth wheel and had no trouble getting it in and set up. Paulette gave us site options which was really nice. The views were absolutely stunning and my daughter loved the pup and lamb that roamed around. We were sad we were only there one night, but we will definitely return!

we did this special rental to make it special for our grand daughter. she had a fantastic time with the roasting of marshmallows and loved seeing all the animals. the host was also very friendly and helpful.

Perfect place to stay for the night, power, water, bathrooms and a shower. Make sure you pet the dogs after they help you park! Keep an eye out for the antelope as well.
