Staying here felt like stepping straight into a fairytale! A short walk from the parking area instantly transports you into a peaceful forest oasis, surrounded by trees, soft lights, and the sound of nature. The treehouses themselves were cozy, beautifully built, and surprisingly warm — we visited during the first cold spell of the season, and the heaters kept us perfectly comfortable all weekend. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, and you can tell the hosts take great care of the property. The grounds are beautiful to explore, with little touches everywhere that make it feel whimsical and cared for. It's a fun tree house which is perfect for a family of 4. Our kids loved playing board games, watching TV, etc. The host was super generous and even provided homemade cookies. The bathroom situation is quite interesting with an emergency solution inside the tree house and the primary toilet in a portapotty a few steps away from the tree house.

The Treehouse was AWESOME. It’s clean and comfy, with everything we needed for a home base for a couple of days spent exploring North Cascades. The property is amazing… definitely don’t skip walking down to the river. We spent time there fishing and relaxing, as well as a night sitting in the gazebo with the propane fire-pit and some drinks. Jeremy was an amazing host— super responsive and helpful, and there to help you enjoy the property. I can’t say enough good things about the property and the treehouse.

I had such a wonderful stay at Jeremy’s treehouse! It was beautifully designed, spotless, and had everything I needed, such as TV, kitchenware, and a super comfortable bed. The outdoor shower with hot water was perfect after swimming. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Skagit River, where there’s a gazebo and picnic table, a great spot to bring lunch and relax by the water. Jeremy was very friendly and shared helpful info beforehand, which made the stay even better. I’d love to come back again!

This hipcamp is in a beautiful location surrounded by woods. The treehouses are artfully made and are fairly spacious inside as well. There are also restrooms right nearby. I used the tree house for a music video project and we had so much fun. Emily and Miles were welcoming and responsive hosts. I'd highly recommend staying here!

Wow! What an amazing find. This unique and peaceful treehouse next to a stream was the perfect finisher after a weeklong backpacking trip in the Cascades. The outdoor shower was the chef’s kiss and the kitchenette well appointed. All the details were carefully considered and provided. The walk to the riverside beach so lovely. Jeremy was such a friendly and gracious host. He clearly cares.

We loved staying here in the tree house! It was better than expected! The first level had tables and chairs and we loved hanging here above in the trees! The field driving in was covered with sunflowers and wild flowers and it was so so beautiful. We went hiking in mount baker so this was a great location to stay and it was very peaceful. We will be back again for sure!

Where to go

Whidbey Island

Situated between the Olympic Peninsula and I-5, this large island is a popular getaway for urban Washingtonians, particularly in summer. Popular activities on the island include hiking, cycling, clamming, crabbing, fishing, kayaking, and of course, camping.

The Tulalip Reservation

Just south of Warm Beach, the Tulalip Reservation offers a mix of beaches and woods, with a few campgrounds for good measure. It's also home to a few of the region's smaller, off-the-beaten path lakes, including Weallup Lake and John Sam Lake.

The Olympic Peninsula

This pretty stretch of forested land is home to cute coastal towns and mile upon mile of lush forest. Don’t miss the Hoh Rainforest, inside the Olympic National Forest.

When to go

The best time to camp in and around Warm Beach is from June through September, when there's a relatively low chance of rain (by Pacific Northwest standards) and warm weather. July and August are pleasant, with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s, but these are also the most crowded months, as kids are out of school in the area. If you’re in town for the holidays, the Warm Beach Camp & Conference Center hosts an annual drive-through lights display.
