At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life. Glendale farm experienced a devestating loss in 2022, the primary residence burned down, and since then has been going through an extensive cleanup from an extreme hoarding situation. We recommend using shoes at all times as we are still in the process of combing the grounds for glass and possible sharp objects. You can expect to see old farm equipment, some derelict Rvs, and material debris which we are raising funds to remove. Please be patient with us as we continue to improve the site with future showers, a comunal kitchen, and improved landscaping. The River Resort sits on the Pilchuck River, it's located on a dead end private gravel road. This is one site with two bell tent canvas yurts. One party at a time is all we allow. Yurt #1 is 16 ft. has 1 queen bed a fold out single couch an electric fireplace. Yurt #2 is 16 ft. and has a double bed and same couch and fireplace. There is power for RV close by with additional room for more tents. There is a CLEAN custom made vault restroom for both men/woman. Also, an instant hot water tank for a shower for guest to use. Two picnic table, a covered kitchen area with a water pump, just bring your own water to wash dishes. An above ground fire pit you can cook on. We can also provide a propane tank for $15.00 for 2 nights, grill is free to use.. For an additional fee, a wheel barrel full of good dry wood for $25.00 all payable directly to Bruce/Lynn at check out. We live on property but you’ll have 100% privacy at river. The listing is for eight people on the property but if you choose to bring additional guest, it will be five dollars per night per guest ages 5 and above. Payable directly to Bruce and Lynn at check out. Do NOT INCLUDE EXTRAS IN YOUR RENTAL FEE today. We do ask you to list everyone 5 and above so we know who will be on property. We are a recycle family so please use our recycle bins but you must take out your own garbage when you leave. We will provide you with two large garbage bags. We ask that you remove your shoes while in yurts. Animals are welcome and they can be inside the yurts, but NOT on furniture/beds. Also, we provide doggie poo bags and a shovel so pick up what they leave behind them. We have a camp box that can be rented if you want to camp but do not have typical camping supplies. You can fish from our rivers edge but you must have a fishing license and know the fishing regulations in order to not be fined. For the 4th of July, min. 3 day rental is required. I booked the entire site for my birthday and had a great time! The new covered area over the kitchen is excellent, and was especially nice during rainy weather. Multiple tents to choose from, a nice big fire pit, and multiple toilets for easy access. Timber and Bethany were super accommodating and helpful, will definitely be back out here again!

We loved our stay at the Huckleberry yurt - the yurt is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. You get the camping experience but also sleep in a real bed, what could be better! The owners Beth and Matt are super friendly and supplied us with extra blankets and firewood. My daughter became best friends with one of their dogs. The location is great too; it feels very private but you're close to many facilities and beautiful Chuckanut Drive. We already look forward to returning next year!

We had a great time here. Timber’s property were extremely well taken care of and you can tell they’ve put a lot of effort into keeping it a magical location. The hot shower was extremely appreciated and the community kitchen area came in handy when I came to making some backcountry meals. Overall it was a good experience!

Weekend Trip to Rowley River Resort

I've stayed at many Hipcamps and Lynn and Bruce have been the best hosts! We absolutely LOVED the site and all the amenities. It was right on the river which was the best part. It was my sister's first time camping with her kids, and everyone had an amazing time. There were so many thoughtful touches from floats to kids painting supplies to string lights to plants around the site. We all fought over the hammock and had to limit time so we could all have a turn! You can tell they take very very good care of the site and the guest experience is important to them. The beds were really comfortable and each of the yurts had such great touches like lamps and fans, and even a drying rack. Really loved our time!

Weekend Trip to Rowley River Resort

We had our yearly family camping trip here this year and it was such a fun time! The yurts were so gorgeous and being on the river was so awesome. They had everything you could think of including a grill and river floats! We will most definitely be booking for future family camping trips. Lynn and Bruce are absolutely amazing hosts. Every single need was met from them. And they are so kind. I highly recommend their beautiful little oasis.
