Wake to farmland views, grazing cattle, and a continental breakfast tray (farm-fresh eggs, pastries, fruit, juice) waiting in your fridge/counter. Your private guest suite is located in the last two stalls of our original horse barn, featuring charming half-split stall doors and a thoughtfully designed outdoor bathroom just steps away. Enjoy the privacy of your own space while staying on shared family land that live up in the main house but give guests space unless needed. You’ll enter through a private gate using a designated guest code. After turning left down the gravel drive, is your private space/outdoor fire pit, picnic area. (Please also note your outdoor restroom). Through barn gate, into the covered patio, in the last two doors, your Kitchen Corral and Comfort Corral. The Kitchen Corral includes a breakfast bar, mini fridge, wooden fire stove, couch, tv and small living space- including welcome book. The Comfort Corral has a cozy bed, towel wardrobe, tv , half bath with pedestal soaking tv and shower. Also provided is an interior door courtesy lock. Light switches are found just inside the left doorframe, at about head level. This is a working farm, so you may experience the natural smells, sounds, and dust of rural life. We keep the space clean and inviting, while embracing the rustic nature of our setting. The property is in transition with updates in progress- currently, guests use a clean/private well-maintained outdoor toilet station just outside the stalls, at your outdoor living space and fire pit. Please do not feed or touch the animals unless arranged in advance. While they may look friendly, they can be unpredictable. We’re happy to organize a safe interaction upon request. For safety reasons, we do not host pets or children at this time. No smoking inside or around the stalls, or gravel drive. Due to the complimentary breakfast, we cannot accommodate allergies. Outdoor cameras (only) are on-site for your safety/our protection. We look forward to hosting you and hope you enjoy this one-of-a-kind stay in the countryside.
