Kathleen greeted us when we arrived late. Pointed out their electrical outlet and water supply. She promptly replied to my messages. Not far from downtown Yakima. And they gave a really nice enclosed area for pets.

Great location, up and out of the way in a quiet area. Store and gas within 3 miles and 25 minutes from The Dalles. We will definitely be back for future events in The Dalles.

This yurt and every detail of the area was perfect! It was even more than we expected. There is fresh water for cooking, drinking and showering. The Landscape is absolutely stunning. Hosts are extremely caring and everything in the yurt is done with so much care. We went with a and two dogs and we all had a great time. Cannot recommend it enough! Hope we can visit again soon!

What a relaxing weekend! Perfect spot for astronomy, I enjoyed a lovely night learning from Dad. Brought my 3 senior dogs as well who enjoyed their time! Great landing spot if one wants to explore and another just wants to relax at camp. Don't miss sunset at the purple bench! Yurt is also very well stocked for kitchen and bedding needs! Yummy spring water, dogs demanded fill ups if their bowls were even an hour non-fresh! Be on the lookout for little lizards! Our favorite amoung the wildlife

We loved our time at the yurt! Gorgeous property, sweeping views and such a welcome and cozy atmosphere. The host was nearby and very receptive to questions, alyet we had privacy to relax and felt right at home. Highly recommend this beautiful glamping experience!!

Very friendly and welcoming hosts with a beautiful chunk of land to share! There were porta potties on the farm that were super clean when we arrived. Beautiful view of Mt Adams & a wonderful location tucked up in the mountains, but close enough to get to so many nature hikes & swimming holes. Thanks for having us!

This was our second visit to Roots Family Farm and this time we brought friends! We were able to find a site in the Pines that accommodated a large Airstream and our smaller teardrop trailer. Potable water on site and the port a potties were clean headed into the three day weekend. It’s a short drive to many activities. Amy was so welcoming and we’re looking forward to coming back again.

Paulette and her ranch are both heavenly. Her setting is bucolic and majestic and the views are stunning! She took great care of us and we will definitely go back! Highly recommend!

Such a lovely weekend camping! Many spaces to choose from on the property. We had ample room in a shaded valley. Perfect for relaxing and sitting next to the fire. Amy was a fantastic host. Very welcoming and kind. The farm fresh eggs were the highlight of our breakfast. The porta potties were clean and well stocked.

We loved the quiet retreat of the yurt! The sunset at the top of the hill was magical and playing board games and falling asleep by the wood stove was so cozy. Such a refreshing escape from city life.

We tent camped and were really happy with the location, the cooking & eating area, and the ranch in general. Paulette was a great host and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Kathleen and Elden are the nicest people. They helped me park and provided a longer hose to get to the water on their home. If you have a dog the completely fenced, with beautiful grass, area is a life saver for a traveling pup. I will book again with them on my return trip in mid September. Please be respectful of your hosts and pickup after your dog and yourself!

2 nights at Lefever Holbrook Ranch

It was a beautiful Ranch! Gorgeous views. Paulette was very accommodating. Unfortunately for us though, the wind was high and we were tent camping so the weather wasn't great. Definitely recommend if you have a comfy place to sleep. Pricing is a bit high in our opinion. But if you can afford it, definitely go! Gorgeous place, fun to see the animals. Especially the peacock 🦚 😄

Rural farm camp in Yakima's west valley. This relaxed campsite is bordered by fruit orchards and farms on a very quiet dead end road. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains. There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear. There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Multiple tent sites , restroom available Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night. Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. There are fire rings at each site for your use (unless burn ban in effect) Camp host always has plenty of S'mores supplies (complimentary of course) for that campfire treat. :) Visit our hen house! We have laying hens with fresh eggs daily for your breakfast. Bring the kids, wooden play structure and swing set are ready for family fun. There are forest service roads and trail riding nearby. Jeep and off road groups come from all over the state to ride in the foothills, just 30 minutes away. Winter time campers are welcome too! Winter access is easy, county road to entrance of Hipcamp is plowed by county road crews and as host I have tractor 🚜 to plow the camp area prior to your arrival. Snowmobiles are welcome in winter and you get a reduced nightly rate. Ride and play in the snow around the camp property or drive 20 minutes to foothills with trails and forestry roads open to sleds. Bring the whole group, plenty of room on this property for as many as 20 rigs and trailers.
