The site was perfect, for our 2 day trip! Plenty of space for our vehicle, a trail, room for multiple tents, a fire pit, outhouse and a beautiful view! The hosts are absolutely wonderful and so communicative. Which I love! I would absolutely book again! Great plot for a break from reality!

Fantastic spot for tent camping! Our site was a beautiful little glen, surrounded by trees, with a babbling brook running at the edge. The ground is flat and mostly level, so it worked well for our 10 person tent. Because of Red Flag conditions, we didn't get to use it, but Warner had a fire pit and wood already at the site. There was a large cable spindle that functioned as a good size table. The site has a little trail that leads back into the woods for a relaxing hike if you want. Warner provides an indoor bathroom and potable water from an artesian well, just yards from the "entrance" to our site. There was even a super friendly cat that would stroll through to say 'Hi' once in awhile. It was a fantastically beautiful and relaxing place to spend a long weekend.

These hosts deserve 5 stars for excellent communications! We booked in late (8pm-ish) and arrived after dark. They were so helpful with ensuring we had throw directions through text, as we were concerned about not having data or service, coming from Canada.They’re such lovely people with an amazing property!
We were so stoked on the beautiful valley view from the site and private outhouse that was very clean and didn’t smell… at all!!
The walking trails connecting the site to the sunset trail and communal space are well maintained and a beautiful taste of nature and the property has to offer.
We had so much privacy and felt well looked after. We will definitely be returning! <3

Very much wooded and private as deer roamed by, deep woods vibe with the convience of a hardware store, gas station and grocery store close by. The bay to swim is a 7 minute drive and a stunning beach. Amazing view of the stars and kind hosting. I'll be back

We loved our 4 nights at Taylor's Knoll. She is a very welcoming host and the site was perfect, exactly as described and quiet. Located only 5-10 minutes from Hill's Resort and Luby Bay campground, it was easy for us to spend time at the lake. Highly recommended!

We spent a whole weekend camping up on zaltana retreat and it was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken! The views up there are incredible & the hosts are more than willing to help out as much as possible (when needed) to make the experience even better! We needed wood, they had some and proceeded to give it to us for free because we didn’t use all of it. Gave us a cool swim spot to check out. The outhouse is probably the cleanest one I’ve ever been in. The hospitality was just the best. SO welcoming. They really are just great people wanting to share their beautiful piece of land and I 10/10 recommend you go check it out! We will definitely be back that’s for sure!

First off, GORGEOUS property. Camp sites are right on the edge for the best views of the river
The hosts were beyond helpful and provided insight on multiple places we could go explore.
Would 10/10 recommend for anyone wanting to unplug (although you do get cell service).

Such a lovely place to stay. Taylor is an exceptionally generous and thoughtful host. Tons of room to set up your camp, and if you’re by the creek it makes for a lovely lullaby at night. There is a nice portapotty, and there are fairy lights that welcome and guide you at night to your site. Even flowers! So sweet. Tamrak being close by is super convenient. Highly recommend to any families who might want a little more privacy than a state park campsite. Thanks Taylor!

My group of 4 went tent camping for a couple nights and had a wonderful stay! Quiet and private, good views and lots of bird watching. The open air deck was very nice for hanging out for a few hours when our campsite got a little too toasty for us. It had a nice breeze, comfy chairs, games/coloring, and it was fun watching the hummingbirds. The last night, it rained and we got some gorgeous misty morning weather and views. Hosts sold us a good size bundle of firewood and we're generally very accommodating and inviting. Thanks so much for a great stay, we hope to be back!

We had a fantastic time at Bearcat Acres! Warner was warm and welcoming, and the land is just beautiful. We were able to hike all over the property and explore, as well as create a nice home base to hang out in. The glen where we set up was both sunny and shady, and the kids loved roasting marshmallows over the firepit. Warner is still making improvements to the property and you can see how much care he has for the land.

Lance and Jen’s place was a gem - and overlooked a beautiful valley. Toilet was clean as was the picnic table - fire pit was a bonus too! Awesome, interesting couple. They were very helpful with directions and jumped my car when I ran down the battery (rookie error). I loved their dogs! And they loved my turkey and cheese. Yes bribery! Would highly recommend this HipCamp!!! I hope to hear from you when you cross the pond!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay on Lance’s property! The perfect private campsite to get away with our 2 dogs! I was even impressed by the outhouse! (Which I never worry too much about anyway because I’m just grateful to have a toilet lol). Lance was very easy to communicate with and was so helpful and generous with sharing their space. We loved watching the hummingbirds on the look out deck! 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Hosts were very welcoming and friendly 🙂 we didn't stay much at camp. As we were out exploring most of the weekend. The fire pit was nice they even gave us wood for the fire. We also booked very last minute on memorial day weekend and host was accommodating. Easy center location for the lake in between both sides.
