Please note: We're located on a section of the Ohio-Erie Canal Scenic Byway, the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad, and at a 90-degree corner with a slight slope that causes trucks to downshift and brake. If you're a light sleeper, we recommend bringing earplugs! We now offer disposable, individually packaged earplugs in our Porta-Jon.

I started this 2 acre homestead! It is home to myself, my four dogs, turkeys, and some chickens. I’m very close to all the creature comforts like Walmart and Target, but the property is wooded on three sides so you feel like you’ve gotten away from the city. There is a small creek my dogs love to play in and a large field for frisbee and star gazing. There are hikes close by at Little Turtle Pond and many restaurants within 10 minutes like Woodys for breakfast and dinner at NauitiVine. If you enjoy boating Nimistila Reservoir (electric only very kayak friendly) and Portage Lakes are a quick 12 minute drive. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Our property is located just off the beaten path with 4.5 acres of land. It’s close to shopping and turnpike/hwy access but still has the out-in-the-country feel. We have a half acre pond filled with bluegill and large mouth bass, a hillside with apple trees and blackberry bushes, and a large gravel turnaround for easy access. We are close to Cuyahoga Valley National Park as well as multiple metro park areas for hiking and biking. The primitive campground is in the corner of a small 40 acre farm owned by Matt Polcyn. He started the campground 13 years ago because of his love for nature and real camping. He enjoys traveling in many places in the States and the Caribbean islands and loves finding places off of the beaten path and not commercialized. Because of his interest and love for primitive camping he decided to open the campground in order to provide the same opportunity as a getaway primitive camping location that he tries to find when he travels.

You'll notice that our property is also home to horses. They live and graze freely on the land, so from time to time, they may wander near your campsite. The horses are gentle and friendly, and many guest enjoy their quiet company during their stay. We do ask that you admire them respectfully. Please don't feed them, and give them space if they get curious and come close. They're part of the land's charm, and we're happy to share their presence with you.
Old School Farm and Workshop is a 40-acre modern homestead located in the heart of Ohio's Appalachian Country. We are 10 miles from Salt Fork State Park, Ohio's largest State Park and Ohio's Bigfoot Capital. While there, visit the new Eco-Discovery Center. Boating? We are only 6 miles to the Morning Glory boat ramp. Take your kayak on the Tuscarawas River, Simonds-Heller Park is only 13 miles away. Ride bike on the Great Guernsey Trail or check out their self-serve Kayak rental kiosk. We are at the back door of Ohio's Amish Country, and only a 45 minute drive to one of the largest conservation centers in the world, The Wilds. The site was exactly like I expected based on photos and a very nice property to stay at. Very relaxing to sit by a fire and enjoy the pond in the evening. Great location to stay at to go to Cuyahoga valley NP. Highly recommend staying here and appreciate them sharing their property at a reasonable price to enjoy the area. Thank you!

We adore this campground. Beautifully maintained, great sites and only 80 min from us in Cleveland. The owners provide dry firewood that you can purchase for 10$ a wheelbarrow. There is a river winding through, this time we caught sight of the beaver that lives there! The only drawback is the sound from the natural gas liquidation plants few miles away but they aren’t operating on Sundays so it is so peaceful. It doesn’t take away from the beauty and serenity of this spot and the hosts are kind and helpful! We did a tent one time and this time brought the RV.

What a great place to spend our wedding anniversary. Just us and nature for 5 days. The campsite was perfect for our 32' bumper pull camper. The camper site sets on packed gravel with a concrete pad and pea gravel for chairs and picnic tables, overlooking the creek. We saw ducks, we fished and explored the well manicured property. We really enjoyed our stay at Memory Park.

A beautiful view, excellent and friendly hosts. Perfect spot with 30amp service for my van. Picturesque and clean, perfect for vans, tents and B class RVs. I would be weary about making a right hand turn into the property if I had a trailer, or a class A, so try to plan your trip for a left hand turn if you're towing and arrive in the daylight. There is a bit of a hill, I would not recommend for a bigger rig, but it's perfect for a van!

Close to everything but still feels like it’s in the country. I was combining camping with some preliminary house hunting in the Cleveland area. Jason & Marcie’s place allowed me to comfortably do both. Road noise picks up in the morning but drops off quickly at night. The pond is peaceful and makes a nice backdrop for an evening drink or morning coffee.

Helpful staff when booking and using the facilities on site. The campground had all the hookups: electric, water, and grey water disposal. Bathrooms were clean, and I felt safe. We were surrounded by trees and nature. We only stayed one day, but would definitely stay here.
