Gracious host, comfortable site, beautiful view. We did not book far enough in advance, however, communicating with the host we were able to secure a two-night stay. After a minor matter with the power receptacle and the host having a branch trimmed on a tree due to the size of our RV, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to others.

Ear Lake Rasberry Patch is the best camping spot in Bear Lake if you don’t like crowds, with beautiful views and is very peaceful! The owner John is the friendliest, most helpful host. We had issues with our plug and he did everything to accommodate us, even though he didn’t have to. You are missing out if you don’t stay here. We will be back as soon as we can!

Tara met us when we drove in, gave us a few options to where to set up our tent, and encouraged us to walk around and meet the animals. (We had no idea that turkeys slept in trees and were fascinated watching them all get up there). We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again if we are ever in the area.

This stop suited us well. It’s easy to find and we found a nice, level spot just off the driveway for our 21 foot campervan. We were able to open out the side “patio” towards a creek and felt very private, even though we were fairly close to the house. The community is small and quiet.

We had a great overnight stay at Kathy's place! I contacted her really last minute and she was so understanding and thorough with directions. There was a big spot to park and a water spigot with delicious water. We were totally self sufficient so it was a perfect location close to the freeway but still really quiet. We made coffee and went and said hi to all the animals. We would absolutely stay here again.
