We're located 40 min from Kanab, 50 min from Zion National Park and 2 hours from Grand Canyon North Rim, Bryce Canyon National Park and Page, AZ. We're on 7 acres of land (all accomodations are on ~2 acres of the land) in a very rural town but please note, we do have neighbors on both sides- one of which have cows, roosters and horses. We have 3 glamping tents and 1 tiny cabin on-site (all of which are available for booking) along with a few shared spaces amongst guests: 2 covered grilling areas, a centralized fire pit and an indoor bathhouse. We are currently in the process of adding 2 more accommodations, a silo and a cave, that will be available by Summer 2024. Each glamping tent and cabin is about 30 yards apart from one another. We provide all linens and towels for guests, AC/Heater units and hot/cold water year-round. We're located at the border of Utah and Arizona in Cane Beds, AZ. It's a very isolated area with 2-3 dining options and a large full-sized grocery store (Bee's Marketplace) less than 10 minutes away! Cane Beds, Arizona has beautiful sandstone formations & attractions such as nearby Water Canyon Trailhead, Gooseberry Mesa and Maxwell Park. The terrain is very similar to Zion National Park. This region is especially known for hiking, mountain biking and ATV trails. We're also conveniently located 40 min from Kanab, which is a town full of trails and hikes with a ton of great stops on the way (Paria Townsite, The Toadstools, Wirepass to Buckskin Gulch, The Wave, Grand Staircase Escalante). Rest up in peace and quiet in this leafy, shady garden spot. Our place is an oasis in the desert and is admired by all visitors as the most lush, cool spot in Cane Beds. The surrounding vermillion cliffs match the adobe walls of this charming cottage. This unique cottage is a rare example of an earth dwelling. Built about 30 years ago with adobe red clay, sand and straw, it is modernized and recently renovated. You will see two examples of the application of the adobe method in this building. If you have pets you must add them under EXTRAS. We have it listed under EXPERIENCES and we charge $25 cleaning fee per visit. The way Hipcamp has us do this is not very well done, it's a bit clunky. But Just select one pet if you are staying shorter than a month, two pets if a month or longer. It is not a fee per pet, or per guest, it is per visit. So if you have two pets and are staying a week then select for only one pet. Just let us know how many pets (and what kind) to expect. Message us with any questions. Dogs will have to be on leash when outside since we have a number of cats and even though your dog may not chase them, the cats would certainly be a bit freaked out. Also it's possible that your pet could get out onto the road which has claimed several of my kitties. Please know if your dog will be OK watching the kitties through the windows or when outside. We are within reach of several National Parks and other scenic sights for a day trip, including North Rim Grand Canyon, ZION, Bryce, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State park, Pipe Spring National Monument, Grand Staircase Escalante National Reserve and on and on. All around is breathtaking beauty and many easy hikes and mind-blowing vistas just in the neighborhood! Just to note, there is only 1 bedroom with a queen bed. With notice we can bring in a camp bed, or you can set up your tent on the lawn for extra guests or children.

We provide all linens and towels for guests, AC/Heater units and hot/cold water year-round. We're located at the border of Utah and Arizona in Cane Beds, AZ. It's a very isolated area with 2-3 dining options and a large full-sized grocery store (Bee's Marketplace) less than 10 minutes away! Cane Beds, Arizona has beautiful sandstone formations & attractions such as nearby Water Canyon Trailhead, Gooseberry Mesa and Maxwell Park. The terrain is very similar to Zion National Park. This region is especially known for hiking, mountain biking and ATV trails. We're also conveniently located 40 min from Kanab, which is a town full of trails and hikes with a ton of great stops on the way (Paria Townsite, The Toadstools, Wirepass to Buckskin Gulch, The Wave, Grand Staircase Escalante). Rest up in peace and quiet in this leafy, shady garden spot. Our place is an oasis in the desert and is admired by all visitors as the most lush, cool spot in Cane Beds. The surrounding vermillion cliffs match the adobe walls of this charming cottage. This unique cottage is a rare example of an earth dwelling. Built about 30 years ago with adobe red clay, sand and straw, it is modernized and recently renovated. You will see two examples of the application of the adobe method in this building. If you have pets you must add them under EXTRAS. We have it listed under EXPERIENCES and we charge $25 cleaning fee per visit. The way Hipcamp has us do this is not very well done, it's a bit clunky. But Just select one pet if you are staying shorter than a month, two pets if a month or longer. It is not a fee per pet, or per guest, it is per visit. So if you have two pets and are staying a week then select for only one pet. Just let us know how many pets (and what kind) to expect. Message us with any questions. Dogs will have to be on leash when outside since we have a number of cats and even though your dog may not chase them, the cats would certainly be a bit freaked out. Also it's possible that your pet could get out onto the road which has claimed several of my kitties. Please know if your dog will be OK watching the kitties through the windows or when outside. We are within reach of several National Parks and other scenic sights for a day trip, including North Rim Grand Canyon, ZION, Bryce, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State park, Pipe Spring National Monument, Grand Staircase Escalante National Reserve and on and on. All around is breathtaking beauty and many easy hikes and mind-blowing vistas just in the neighborhood! Just to note, there is only 1 bedroom with a queen bed. With notice we can bring in a camp bed, or you can set up your tent on the lawn for extra guests or children.

Cabin info ($99/night + $69 cleaning fee): This cabin is a cozy 744 square feet. It's off-grid, but we have a 500 gallon water system, an electric start generator, and a propane tank. We hope to also get some solar power up there soon! It's 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and a loft. Max capacity of 8 people (all-new bedroom mattresses as of 2024): 2 in bedroom on full-sized mattress 2 on full-sized pull-out bed in living room area 2 on north side of loft on queen-sized mattress (loft ladder not recommended for those over 75) 2 on south side of loft on full-sized mattress (loft ladder not recommended for those over 75) There is a front deck and a large back deck, where multiple tables can be set up for eating. There is also a full outdoor kitchen. This cabin would also be great as a fishing/hunting base camp - Mammoth Creek, Lowder Ponds, Panguitch Lake, and more are all close! The drive to this place is just wonderful! Easy check in with clear instructions. Bathrooms are super clean! Cute little outdoor community space that's next to the game room. We only stayed a night but wished it was for 2. We played card games and watched a movie then passed out! The night sky was starry with a bit of clouds and the full moon lighting up the night! We loved our stay! Great location. We were in room 34 directly across from the restrooms and showers. The room was very comfortable, and the land was beautiful, very spacious and clean. The Mountain view’s were spectacular. We had a fire in the fire pit the night we were there, it was so cozy on a chilly night. Colby was fantastic, very helpful and extremely easy to reach. I would highly recommend Bryce Canton Shadows campground for stay!

We stayed in one of the cabins, extremely pleasant, checkin is fully self serve, so late arrival is no issue. The campground is less than 30 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park, which was our long weekend destination. Every unit has its own firepit in front, and AC (surprisingly, heating was no issue even though nighttime temperatures were down to the 40s, guess the buildings store the daytime heat well). There is an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill and some basic dishes. It's a good idea to bring your own frying pan and maybe plastic utensils, cooking spray, etc, if you want to make sure you have what you need for somewhat more complex projects. Otherwise, you'll have everything you would have in a hotel room, plus the glamping part. There are shower & bathroom stalls, which are roomy, we'll ventilated, and extremely clean, better than most budget hotel showers. Nice touch: free coffee (there is a coffee maker with filters, sugar, and creamer provided, and you'll have to make your own pot). Generally, the place never felt crowded, even though it was labor day weekend.
