The campground offers one of the largest shade structures in the area, with durable white picnic tables. We do allow campfires, so there is a fire-pit for that. The campground is only 2 1/2 miles away from the tribal park and 1 1/4 miles from the nearest highway. It's tucked away and secluded from noise and light pollution. The stars at night are bright and shinny, so you can pitch your tent right underneath them. With that said, Arrowhead Campground will be one of the best campgrounds you'll ever stay at. First day of my campsite I start with 2 campsites then I built 1 more campsite. I then made fire pit an after that I built an outhouse its a restroom so of the guest don't know what an outhouse is we tell them it doesn't take no water to flush. After that I built a wooden fence around the whole campsite from horses a cows get into our property. So that how I started a campsite. Now our guests love our campsite a some of them came back an we have a short hiking trail to the rims to overlook the whole valleys its beautiful to take pictures from there. Learn more about this land: Guest can pitch a tent or park RV within the campsite having access to own picnic table and fire pit. The Campsite is 10-15 mins to the Valley View of the Famous Monuments and close to Navajo Tribal Park. Access to Restroom (Outhouse) within the site. Guest can request Navajo Taco Dinner with Navajo Tea for extra cost to enlighten their stay here in Beautiful Monument Valley. Guest can bring pets as well. We are pet friendly and have one well behaved dogs name spike and diamond. Also we rv size will be 25 ft long .. 30 ft. Long is going to button out on the cattle guard. We don't have hookup.

The south and east sides are boarded by canyons and ruins. All other private properties in the area are 10 acres or more so are well spread out and sparsely populated. All the structures on site were brought here piece by piece and were salvaged from construction projects in Yosemite and Grand Canyon national parks. Water is manually hauled in and the power in the kitchen area is solar generated so please be conscious of water and power use.

Weekend Trip to Arrowhead Campground

Great campsite with beautiful views! I stayed in mid November and had the whole place to myself. Site 4 was great. Site 5 would’ve also been a good choice. I passed by some of the other Hipcamps in the area and thought the sites at Arrowhead weren’t as on top of each other as the other ones. The outhouse was simple but very clean and was all you need. I would definitely stay here again!

I love this campsite! This is my second time here! I will be coming back again! Brian is awesome is very hospitable! His has firewood for sell. You’re 2 minutes from the entrance to the park. The campsite is always clean. Clean out house and showers. I will be back for sure. If you’re looking for tent camping this is the spot! Highly recommend and great veiws! There are neighbor dogs that are too cute! You can bring your dog too! I saw the northern lights my last night there!

2 nights at Arrowhead Campground

The Arrowhead Campground is a short drive from the main highway. The best views of the Monuments, we even got to see the moon rise above them. Each site has a freestanding pergola (w/ one wall for wind control), a picnic table, and a firepit. There are two off the grid outhouses. Bring your own drinking and grey water. There is no running water available. Note: We stayed on site #7 were the owner's dog had visited us once in evening by the campfire and once in morning while we enjoyed a cup of coffee. He is a sweetheart who respects your space, but enjoys your company. He enjoys a little toss and catch with rocks or sticks. Don't worry he'll find the perfect rock or stick to toss. Thank you, Jeremy and family for sharing this special place with all us happy campers.

Jeremy is super accommodating, this is the 2nd time we have stayed with him. The views of the mesas and buttes from every campsite is outstanding. He is friendly and helpful (and if you would like a private tour of the backcountry of Monument Valley where only the Diné can go, he can definitely get you an A+ tour!). We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.

Nice camp with enough space. Very good spot close to the Valley (walking distance). Friendly hosts. Three nice dogs are guarding the camp. Unforgetable dark sky with a wonderful milky way and an amazing view especially during sunset. Not easy to find (no sign next to the main road).

Great spot to stay! Brian was very hospitable and had a great setup. They provide clean bathrooms (pit style outhouse) and a hot, clean shower. Also enjoyed the Navajo tacos prepared by his wife. Highly recommend! The location is perfect if you want to visit Monument Valley, as it is very close to the Tribal Park entrance. There is a nice 20ish minute hike from Brian’s place that leads up a hill and provides a great place to watch sunrise or sunset. Just stayed one night but it was just what we needed.

Friendly hosts, great directions it was very easy to find. We forgot which site we had selected, but they were quick to respond and help. We enjoyed our site, the views were amazing! I hiked the trail to the overlook twice! So pretty! We slept so good it was very peaceful and quiet. Would recommend!
