Weekend Trip to Strawberry Hideout

We absolutely loved this property! The kids had a blast on the deck, and there was plenty of space for them and our dog to run around and play. The firepit was a great touch for cozy evenings, and we really enjoyed exploring some of the nearby trails with our ATV. Communication with the host was excellent, and everything was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be staying here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

2 nights at Sandy beaches on the Green River

Amazing spot! Beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. The beaches and sand bars were very fun to explore in kayaks, which Rebecca rents out for a reasonable price. We came in late May, and the river water level was fine, a good challenge for upstream travel but navigable. Rebecca was good with providing answers to my questions but had some communication challenges because it's a bit off the grid, so you'd likely want questions answered up front. It's a dream spot if you appreciate unconventional camping on the gorgeous Green River.

Mike was so kind and helpful we had a great time on his land! It was beautiful! It was a bit windy but Mike helped us out when we needed it! Totally worth a visit!

We had a great stay at Mike’s Hipcamp! The site was as advertised—set in a unique and beautiful high desert landscape, offering incredible views and privacy. It’s a fantastic spot to disconnect and enjoy nature, especially at night when the stargazing is best. Mike was friendly and super helpful. He gave us great site recommendations based on our setup. Just a heads-up: you’ll need 4-wheel drive to access the more secluded spots on the backside of the property, which are totally worth it for the added privacy. If you don’t have 4WD, the upper area near the rock is still beautiful and accessible. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for something off the beaten path with big skies, quiet nights, and a warm, knowledgeable host. We’ll definitely be back!

We had such a great time! The campground was private but also very easy to find. The yurt was very cute and comfortable. Very clean and all equip worked perfectly. The caretaker is very nice and helpful. The owner is very communicative and professional, they gave very detailed instructions, making the trip very stress free. A perfect little slice of heaven that we see ourselves returning to over and over again!

Weekend Trip to Mike's Place on the "Boulder"

The place was beautiful, and Mike was a great guy! He let us pick any place we wanted. The drive from the main road was a little rough so it took a while to get to, so we stayed put till checkout, but the place was worth it.

There is access to a common area for latrine, dressing area, gravity fed solar shower, and eco-friendly toiletries. The river is full of fun and relaxation. There are life vests, kid and adult kayaks, sand toys, and more available for rent. The campsite is on the fringe of a large hay farm so you may spot farming in action. Expect a 15-20 minute drive to downtown with many food, entertainment, and amenities offered. There is a diversity of wildlife to be seen on site. It is a bird watchers paradise, don't be surprised if you spot a bald eagle, Canadian geese, peregrine falcon, cranes, meadow lark, red-wing black bird, and more!
