This is our family farm, though you probably will not see us much. The campsite is located on a corner of the property on Cummins Creek and once you get there you will feel secluded in nature. Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. Our campground features shaded sites nestled among historic oak and pecan trees, providing relief from the hot Texas sun during summer months, while more open sites are available for enjoying the mild winter weather. The Texas Intracoastal Waterway is conveniently located just five minutes away by car or a short 15-minute boat ride from the park.
We pride ourselves on offering amenities that enhance your stay, including an on-site fish cleaning station, boat ramp, shower facilities, laundry services, and a propane filling station. You can conveniently purchase fishing licenses and beach permits right here at the park

Finding the Magnolia is a little tricky with Google maps (it just pinned it as part of a school district!) but the bumpy drive is worth it. The camping area is tucked around behind the barn, so you don't even notice the family home. The tent is super cute, the hammock chairs comfy, and the star-viewing? Superb. It won't be for everyone, but Jennifer gives all the details in the listing, so it shouldn't be a surprise that the bathroom facilities are rustic. Overall, a lovely experience.
p.s. we got to cuddle with absolutely adorable outdoor cats during our stay, which was 10/10 for all participants!

This was a great experience, a getaway from the hustle and bustle enjoying the quietness. The fresh air really was amazing and I look forward to doing it again at the same place I connected with nature, spirituality, and I was able to forget about the responsibilities that keeps us all bogged down and just be at peace. Loved the outdoor shower with hot water. We purchased from Jennifer eggs from her chickens and they were delicious! Our dog loved the field and exploring. We were successful in cooking our food on the fire pit.

Highly recommend !
Great for couples, friends or even a solo getaway. Was greeted with a high vibrational energy from the family, very kind and welcoming - felt right at home.
Here, you can expect to enjoy the farm animals, sounds of nature and pitch dark nights perfect for star gazing.

2 nights at Skoolie in the City
Very comfortable stay with heaters to keep it warm even with overnight temperatures being cold. Bus was hooked up to power and water and gas making it a fully equipped place to stay for a quick shower, using the toilet, and cooking. I even got a little hot at one point the first night with the heaters and warm clothing. Easy to find, easy to park, and not too far away from the suburbs and downtown
