Weekend Trip to Hill Terrace
I visit Junction to see local friends and paddle the S Llano at least twice a year. My second visit to this property. Stayed in Cabin 1 this time since it was just me. Simple and comfy. It was very relaxing to watch the rain from the front porch. The larger cabin is even better if you have more people.
The river access is superb if you enjoy kayaking. Was there for the Up and Back Race this year and it was the perfect place to paddle up to first crossing to watch the first few racers from there and then back at the cabin later in the afternoon.
Lots of hummingbirds and butterflies too! Will be back.

What a fantastic place! For our family, it was just like visiting grandma’s house. Beautiful scenery, excellent river access, comfortable beds, and all the amenities you would want to enjoy time on the river. Cabin 1 was my favorite. The front porch during the rainstorm was just what my soul needed. We highly recommend this place.

We loved cabin 3 & cabin 1. My wife said it reminded her of her grandmother's house with all the quilts and old furniture, and comfortable beds in all of the rooms. The river access is nice to get into the water with tubes and the on-site kayaks were a bonus for us. The hosts are very responsive and have a neighbor who will come right over when you call for any issues. When we stayed the water level was nice and we were able to go down the river. I would say we had a five-star stay

3 nights at Hill Terrace
This is a great place close to the riverbank. Nice walkway down as well as kayaks on site to use. Cabins are about 100 years old but have some updates that makes it nice to stay in. The host was great very helpful and quick to respondon, also has a guy that is next door if anything pops up. Beds were comfy and the patios are very nice to sit on. Would recommend to stay for a nice river trip.

The host is very helpful and extremely nice. The property is beautiful and it's really easy to take kayaks out or put them in here. Perfect location on the river to stop and have lunch before continuing down to the state park. I love this river.

Perfect weekend to spend with friends and celebrate my upcoming wedding. Kayaks available. Close to the river. Close to the State Park. Kitchen items provided for cooking. Glen was a great host and was quick to answer any questions. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!
