Located near Lake Tejas or Steinhagen Reservoir travel 2.9 acres into a wooded hunting ground and enjoy a weekend of natures beauty. A great Thai restaurant is hard to find. In the search authentic Thai food, My Wife realized she would have to cook her own Thai food. Being born and raised in Thailand, great Thai food was was on every corner. She went to the Asian Markets and bought the ingredients and cooked. Something was still missing. Of course what is missing is the Thai fresh food markets that are very common in Thailand. You can fish in both small lakes. There is one that is safe to swim in. We have 5 RV sites with full hook ups. You can tent camp any where on the property that the cattle are not grazing.

Was amazing! Kid friendly and just people friendly in general! Tons for the kids to see and do animals galore we really enjoyed having the dogs pop by through out the night the kids loved them. The only thing that bothered us slightly were the bugs, but once we got the fire going we were golden! Easy 5 star experience!

I loved staying at Snow White animal sanctuary. We got to enjoy the property and all the diversity of farm animals and wildlife that are abundant on the land. The property is green, lush and gorgeous. The animals graze all around you at all hours.

This is literally one of the most incredible campgrounds we’ve ever stayed at. My son and I were on a road trip and Alyssa and Ocean‘s property is truly magnificent. It feels like Home, the animals are all so sweet, and the energy on that land is amazing. We had such a great time, we stopped there on the way home as well, and will be back for sure. My son got to play with their kids, and has lifelong memories now. Thank you so much to Alyssa and Ocean for creating this space. Don’t miss this campground if you’re in the area.

This was our very first HipCamp stay, and we’re so glad we chose Ocean’s property! We came in with our pop-up trailer and Jeep and had no trouble getting set up. Ocean was a wonderful host… kind, welcoming, and clearly puts a lot of care into the land and the animals. If you’re expecting total quiet, just know this place is full of life and we mean that in the best way! There were ponies, turkeys, peacocks, helpful and friendly dogs, chickens, roosters, and even emus wandering the property. It made the experience feel like something out of a storybook. We loved the freedom to explore, the thoughtful touches around the campsite, and the opportunity to unplug while still feeling safe and taken care of. It’s a perfect spot for animal lovers or families wanting something unique and memorable. We’ll definitely be back! - Brian and Sara

Ocean went well beyond his duties as a host to help us out when we got lost and stuck in the mud after an unusually heavy rain storm over a mile away from their home. I cannot thank him enough as we were in the dark 4 states away from home just me and my 3 young children. The kindness shown to a stranger is unmatched! We were so grateful. Beyond that, the property was beautiful and fun to explore. The free-roaming animals were very friendly and added a unique charm to this hipcamp I have yet to find elsewhere. The bathroom was clean and there was a community kitchen available with a sink, microwave, and toaster oven. Due to our adventures getting stuck in the mud, we were able to do laundry for super cheap ($4 to wash and dry a load) just 2 miles away from the sanctuary. Their children were VERY sweet and my kids enjoyed playing with them. I would Highly recommend the Snow White Sanctuary to anyone who loves animals!
