This was a nice campground, connections worked well and even had a good Mountain View from our site. There is nothing in this area so if you are staying out here this might be the best rv location for several miles. We will stay here again when we go back to Guadalupe.

This is my second stay here! Jay is a fabulous host and he has gone above and beyond with the campsites to name them unique and cool wirh the bronze animals and lantern lights and super clean nice bath house. Not only is the hospitality great , the views of the Guadalupe mountains are stunning with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Perfect place to stay if you are visiting Carlsbad , Guadalupe Mountains, and White Sands National Parks.

The park is new and currently has 12 full hook-up sites, with more being constructed.
There are animal sculptures and elegant lighting, a laundry house with two top-load washers, two dryers, a detergent machine and change machine. The owner, Jay, is as nice as his park.
And the best part is, it is waaay out there.
About 9 miles from Dell City (Pop 220, with a small "grocery" and a couple small restaurants.
I think I saw one or two places for gas/diesel.
At $30/night, $175/week, it is a bargain.

Mountain View RV Park is a great RV park. Jay was a great owner and host.
The site was a nice size. The bathroom and shower was very nice and clean. The laundry room was very nice and clean. The view from the RV park was nice as well.
I will stay at Mountain View RV park again when I am in the area.

This is a special place. The amount of work and care put into this property is mind-boggling. Also, I was able to ask the host questions and he answered immediately, even answered my phone call at night when I was having trouble finding the spot. GREAT deal. Remember though, you’re in the west Texas desert! Respect the land, if you want it to respect you.

Great park! Small, nicely laid out with all the amenities. Laundry room, separate building with toilet & shower. Sites are all back in but have 30 & 50 Amp service, water, and sewer connections. Starlink internet included. Jay met us when we came in. Made sure we were all set up.
Note: Closest town is Dell City which is about 8 miles away. They have two gas stations. One is pay at pump open 24 hrs but won't take Visa, Mastercard only. Around the corner is the Napa auto parts. They sell gas and take Visa but are only open till about 6pm. Don't let your tank get below 1/2 full out here. Didn't see a grocery so bring your supplies.
Good view of the Guadalupe Mountains, and the national park is about 30 minutes away, but you are out in the desert at Jay's. Beautiful, but desert, so if desert is not your thing be forewarned.
We only spent one night, but wouldn't mind coming back and staying here to be able to explore Guadalupe National Park.

Looking for a small, charming, meticulously maintained spot with an absolutely beautiful view? Look no further! This spot is located within driving distance of Guadalupe Mountains National Park and Carlsbad Caverns. It's great if you just need a spot for the night, but we spent several days here and loved it! The sun rose over one set of mountains in the morning and set over another group of mountains in the evening. The shower house is really nice and clean, and the laundry was the best price we've seen at any park. Just be sure you come stocked because there didn't seem to be any sizable stores in the area. Personally, I really enjoyed the "middle of nowhere" feel. The only thing I feel I need to mention is something that is totally out of the owners' control. The people that live across the road have 3 large dogs (they look like Tibetan Mastiffs or TM mixes) and even though the house is very far back from the road, we did come out a few evenings to find them in the park. They barked at us but never approached us. I would just be vigilant if you're camping with 2 or 4 legged kids.

Jay is doing a great job getting this campsite up and running. There is a new bathhouse and laundry. He’s got some trees that will provide good shade in a couple years. The location to Guadalupe Mountain National Park and Carlsbad Caverns is the whole reason we booked here. Would happily book again if we are back in the area.

Had a nice peaceful night of star gazing on Sherry’s land. The property is easy to find and just far enough away from Hwy 62 that traffic noise isn’t a problem. It’s just a short drive to either Guadalupe Mountains National Park or Hueco Tanks State Historic Site. Plenty to see and do in the area. Will definitely be back.
