House sitting on approx.  2 acres,  on a 20 acre high fence Fallow deer ranch.  We also have goats, peacocks, chickens, llamas, Audads, and donkeys.  Most of the animals are very friendly and loved to be fed by hand.  The high fence area is surrounded by farm/ranch land that includes a 3 mile walking/biking trail.

The primitive site has been a failed development project on Lake Stamford.  We purchased the 350 acres not to develop into house sites, but to develop into a recreation area where people can enjoy the outdoors mountain biking, hiking, paddling, horseback riding and camping.  Learn more about this land:This is a 350 acre pasture with 2.5 miles of Lake Stamford shore line. The lake is accessible by hiking on the property down to the lake or driving about three miles to the Stamford Marina which has a boat ramp and parking. No access via vehicle to the lake on the property where camping. Hike down to the lake is a trail a little over 1/2 mile.

Once a cotton farm this land was purchased to become a working flower farm and respite opportunity for individuals to come enjoy the land as it was created. It is filled with wildlife and wildflowers. There are over 30 acres to sit and just listen to the stillness and gaze at the stars. Take in the beautiful sunsets and just reset, relax and recharge your bodies. There is no electricity or water but we make sure that we offer non potable water and a fire ring for your visit.

Pitch your tent at a designated location with a fire ring, firewood and a picnic table. 100% complete privacy. Gaze at the stars all night. A short historical drive to the nearby Wichita Mountains or Oklahoma casinos during the day.  Want to glamp? Lakefront tent site. Roadside/Yard RV site. Cabin for rent. Crappie fishing hole coveted by local fishermen. Also has bass, catfish, perch, gar, drum. Will clean and cook fish for a fee. Interesting area associated with the Indian Wars and the trail of tears.  Nearby Archer City famous for Larry McMurtry, Novelist and screenwriter known for Terms of Endearment and The Last Picture Show, the latter of which was filmed in Archer City. Arrowheads have been found. Islands accessible by boat.
