Come stay on our 100 acre Richard Creek Valley getaway, gently tucked away on the north slope. There are four campsites on the property and they are all at least 150 yards away from each other. Each site is private. When the ground is dry there is access for all vehicles. When the ground is muddy, Brookside, RiverRock, and Richardson Creek campsites require a 4-wheel drive and have alternate routes to get to them. Ancient Oaks is an all-weather site. You can enjoy hiking and swimming in Richardson Creek when water levels permit. Canoeing from Bakers Crossing put-in which is only 3 miles away. Some places to check out while you are here include Dinosaur Valley State Park, Dinosaur World, Granbury Historic Square, Stephenville Rodeo, Bakers Crossing River Put-In, Oakdale Plunge Pool, and BigRocks Park in Glen Rose. Established 1996, The farm is situated just minutes from Magnolia-Silos, the Dr. Pepper museum, Baylor University,  the Texas Ranger museum, BSR Waterpark, the Waco Mammoth National Monument (US National Park Service),  and plenty of magnificent restaurants.  There are no power lines over the property so I invite you to bring a kite to fly! You may even see one or two of mine in the sky. The theme of Coyote Creek Farm is tranquility. It is camping without someone crowding into your space. It is freedom from the hectic pace of the city. There is a well maintained Compost Toilet on the property as well! Each individual campsite has a portable potty bucket provided.  Nearly any spot you are on has an amazingly delightful view. You can see the sun rise over the trees or the sun set behind a gently sloping hill. You will have access to all of the 30 acres. There are paths to walk, a stocked tank to fish in, (bass, catfish and blue gill),  and oak and pecan trees to sit under and view the clouds as they drift overhead. The noises you hear will be cattle calling to their little ones, birds singing, and in the evenings, coyotes howling.

It's quite small but does have a convenience store, with ice, drinks, food, and worms for fishing. There is also a small-town bar with music and food. Hubbard is a nice little town about 15 miles away. It features small cafes, antique shopping, gas and a Sonic. The town of West is much larger and about 30 miles away. West features Czech Bakeries, & old town square shopping. Don’t forget mosquito spray, bedding, and drinking water. There is plenty of dead wood for fire, but you may want something to cut it into smaller pieces. Please don’t go too big or crazy with fire. Conditions can be very dry. Keep the wood burning fireplace in the tent to small fires please. Five college students camped here for three nights and it was such a great experience. The property is very spacious, peaceful, and you can tell that it's really taken care of. The night skies were probably the highlight of the stay, almost no light pollution so all were visible. Even the pit toilet was surprisingly well maintained. Wasn't expecting something so nice for a tent camping set up. The site was easy to find and set tents up after dark. Everything was peaceful and I fully recommend a stay here. We will be returning one day ❤️❤️

Really nice camping spots that's not too far from Fort Worth! We had such an amazing time the spot was perfect for stargazing and relaxing. There's not really any Internet service it was very spotty, but that's what makes it even better. It's nice to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors. The river is right at the camp spot easy access for kayak and paddle boards. Our dogs also loved this spot!

And the location is super convenient from where we all live in North Texas that we definitely want to make this a regular spot. The family that lives there are super kind and friendly. We had a great time at Regena's place! It was our first trip with our youngster, so it was a bit of a trial run. Everything went great. Regena is close by and easy to get a hold of, but doesn't impede on you at the same time. She is a fantastic host- super nice and accommodating. Exactly the type of host you want. The location is outside of the city and is rural, but is also only a 12 minute drive to the grocery store for when you realize you forgot your coffee, like I did. There are some houses relatively close to the RV site, but all the properties have acreage, so the closest is about about a hundred yards away and is hidden behind trees, even in winter months when the trees aren't bloomed. Overall we enjoyed it very much and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

This is a great camping spot for families. The hosts made our stay easy and checked in each day with any updates and or to see if we needed anything. Being able to get firewood, kayaks, ice, and fresh water from the hosts was convenient. The views along the river are amazing. Cell coverage is limited, which we liked. Wildlife is present all around the property, the coolest being the owls, whose hoots would resonate and echo off the river. Speaking of the river, the water is very calm in front of the camp sites, with most allowing for pretty easy entry. Plan on bringing life jackets for kids. This is a camping spot we will definitely be returning to!

Nice and secluded spot, my trailer fit perfectly under the main tree. My son loved exploring the creek and he easily caught about 6 fish. The main campsite is all dirt and it recently rained but there was no mud at all. It is a steep climb up and down to the creek so keep that in mind.

SO MUCH ROOM! My kids love to camp. So having room to move about instead of being squished in by all the other campers. My kiddos were running around barefoot not caring about getting hurt it was all grassed around the campsite. She has a great place and a pond we enjoyed. We had the convenience to have a compost toilet, she made sure it was cleaned out for us never stinky. Instead of trying to figure how to go to the bathroom and not having to go drive into the town to go potty. We had burgers the evening we got there, then had some breakfast burritos. She has her own farm so getting eggs from her for breakfast was awesome. Instead of having to pay so much. Thank you so so much Ms. Regena. We will be back. Promise that!
