I have a camper shell on my pickup truck that I use for camping on public land out west. However, in Texas regular RV parks and camp sites often have rules against people sleeping in their vehicles. This place was a perfect pit stop along I-10 for my setup! Wish there were more places like this. For people used to self contained camping this place is perfect

We are traveling across the country and needed a place to rest for one night. This place fit our needs. It was an easy in and out for our 40' fifth wheel. The ground was mostly level, and the property was very peaceful. Water and 50-amp hookup available. My only complaint was the sprinkler going off late at night so we were trapped when I had to take the dogs out before bed.
No biggie. This is a great place for a quick stopover.

This site got us to within a few hours of Big Bend NP. It's hot, so power and a/c were required. Everything worked and the site was quite level. Note: Open the large breaker box to turn on the individual 30A outlets. Note 2: Gas is available in 65 miles toward Big Bend.
