Magnolia Beach RV Park

2 sites · RVs1 acre · Port Lavaca, TX
Welcome to Magnolia Beach RV Park in Port Lavaca, Texas! We are a small RV park that offers electric, water, sewer, trash, and WiFi. All sites are 50, 30, and 20 Amp and have water and sewer hookups. Pets are welcome! We are close to Magnolia Beach, Port Lavaca business district, and Indianola. When you feel the gulf breezes, you know you've made it to Goose Island. Nestled near St. Charles and Aransas Bays, this Texas state park is all about the water. We're talking boating, kayaking, fishing, and birdwatching along the coast. The only thing you can't do is swim. (Sorry.) That said, there's plenty of luck to be had on the 1,620-foot fishing pier. A boat launch and kayak/canoe launch are also available. Remember to bring your own boat! No stay is complete without visiting the main attraction—a 1,000-year-old oak lovingly dubbed The Big Tree. (Don't worry, it's still standing strong in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.) We primarily cater to month to month guests working in the area so there's not a ton of activities around, but my wife and I are full-time RV'ers so we are hosts as a way to give back to our awesome community. We are located super close to Magnolia Beach though where there is free beach camping for 14 nights! Pets are allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them. We offer discounted rates to HipCampers at $25/night (usually $30) and $150/week (usually $175). We also now have golf carts available for rent!! https://magnoliabeachrvpark.com

Secluded Guadalupe River Spot

4 sites · RVs, Tents12 acres · Gonzales, Gonzales
These are unique camping spots along the Guadalupe River. I didn’t exactly understand how unique until I started getting feedback from my campers. The surrounding scenery will lower your blood pressure and do wonders to let you reconnect with nature. Sit back and close your eyes late in the evening and listen to all the wildlife talking to each other. There is faint traffic noise from 90A about a 1/3 of a mile away but it calms down after 7 or so. Currently no amenities but I am in the plans for some portable bathrooms. Please be prepared to cover all your bathroom and cooking needs. I do have some good clean well water from a faucet on the way into the campgrounds. Campfires are permitted. There is a convenience store (Diamond A) with clean bathrooms and a great bbq just 5 miles to the west on 90A and a Walmart and HEB 10 miles to the east on 90A. No dogs over 20 pounds on sites 1 and 2 but sites 3 and 4 are great areas to bring your high-energy dogs. No matter the size or temperament of your pets you are always expected to have them under your control at ALL times. I have very small livestock on the area on occasion. I am almost always on the property and try to have my phone with me while campers are on site, just let me know what you need and I will do what I can to accommodate you.

Private Gulf Front RV Site

2 sites · RVs1 acre · Sargent, TX
October Special: $30 a night! Private lot on the Gulf of Mexico in Sargent, Texas.  Just walk across the cleared foot path to the Gulf of Mexico.   Full RV Hookups - water, electrical (50A/30A/20A), and sewage.  70+ feet of concrete pad and driveway inside the fenced yard with plenty of space for all RVs.   The property is fully fenced. The entrance gate is 16' wide.  The yard is all St. Augustine grass.  Very clean and maintained.  Pets are welcome.  This property is tailored for RVs, 5th Wheels, Travel Trailers, and Motorhomes that have black and grey tanks and can hold their waste water (shower, toilet, and washing) for dumping into the on-site water treatment unit.  You must have your own shower, sinks, and toilet on your rig with holding tanks for black and grey water and the ability to dump into the dump location on the property.  The property is not designed for tent campers. The electrical and sewage hookups are on the left side of the property.  Motorhomes (Class A, Pushers, and Class C RVs can pull directly into the space with hookups in the usual location.  5th wheels, travel trailers, and campers that are pulled by a vehicle will need to back into the space as there is no room in the front of the property to drive in, unhook your vehicle, and drive the vehicle off the slab.  When you back in, the hookups will be on the the opposite side of your connections.  Depending upon your travel trailer and where you place your travel trailer on the slab, you may need electrical or sewage extensions to reach the connections. The vast majority of the renters who use the property used a 5th wheel, travel trailer or camper that is pulled by a vehicle. The pictures of the property show a line of granite blocks between the property and the beach.  The granite forms a seawall (called the revetment wall) that was installed by the Corp of Engineers and prevents beach erosion.  Depending on the tides, sometimes the Gulf waters hit the wall and there is very little beach area in front of the property.  Sometimes, there is a large beach area.  If the water is against the seawall and you’re looking for beach area, there are several beach entrances along Canal Drive within driving and walking distance.

Camp Nadur at Sargent Beach

1 site · RV1 acre · Sargent, TX
Nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and the Intercoastal Waterway, Sargent Island, with its unique, water-front home sites, was created in the 1950s. A quiet community, we feel Sargent is an oasis away from the crowds and congestion of other beach-side communities. We love taking a break from our busy lives to listen to the waves roaring down the shore. We think you'll love it, too! Learn more about this land: This is a 8000 sq ft privately owned, ocean-side lot. Located on a barrier island in Sargent, TX, the site offers a neighborhood atmosphere, with a secluded, unobstructed beach view. There is an approximately 30x30 gravel pad and long driveway. This is an RV lot only. This property suits smaller to midsize RVs and most wheeled campers (but no ground tents--there is too much ground wildlife for safety, though elevated, vehicle-mounted tents are fine).  The property is still in development. We currently have electricity (110v, 30, 50 amp), water, but NO SEWER. You must bring your own toilet facilities with you and take the waste away. NOTE: Public Toilet facilities and trash available 1.5 miles away. If you're an introvert, dislike traffic or just like breathing room, you'll love quiet, crowd-free, Sargent beach. It's such a peaceful getaway!  ISLAND LIFE NOTE: This gorgeous, island property is vulnerable to the extreme weather conditions on the Texas Gulf Coast. It's a dynamic property, shifting and changing, depending on the weather--we try our best to maintain this property in a timely manner, but we can't control this Mother Nature factor! There may be times we cannot put up the shade canopy due to high winds, other aspects of the property may have shifted, there may not be a beach due to high tides, etc. Please ask questions and we'll communicate what's available at your booking time. Our strict cancellation policy encourages good communication at time of booking.

Goats Gone Wild!

We started our farm in 2010 with the desire to teach our kids about hard work and where food really comes from. We purchased goat milk after our daughter had trouble digesting cow milk as a child. Then we bought a goat, and a few more, and the rest is history! We now sell cheese and milk all over the Rio Grande Valley and throughout Texas via HEB!Learn more about this land:Set up camp here at Thompson Dairy Farms, a small goat dairy located about 15 minutes off the coast of the southern tip of Texas. Colorado River Camping

12 sites · RVs, TentsSmithville , Fayette
The land has been mainly used by ranchers. It is a simple small getaway. Kirtley used to be a thriving city but once they took the post office away, they attached it to Smithville. Luckily, it hasn't lost its quaint nature. There is a stretch of river property that is normally inaccessible to the general public, but you can access it here where it still lives in its pristine nature. If you look for it you can also find a lot of petrified wood. Learn more about this land:This listing is best for people who want to fish, kayak or Canoe on the river.  Please read all this information to the bottom of the page.  Note that this is primitive camping ( if you don't know what that means look it up). so no toilets, no drinking water. There is trash service. Walmart sells Reliance double doodie bags with bio gel for restroom solutions.  If you want to be right on the river bank, the island is the best place for you to camp. (up stream). You would need to bring a kayak or canoe to access the islands. I have kayaks (3) for rent. I do also rent the house on the property with showers and toilets but you must make prior arrangements.   You can pitch your tent on the property (it is fenced in to keep wildlife out an it is not directly on the riverbank). You do have access to the river.  The river access is not a beach. The camp site is not directly on the river but very close.  2 minute walk to the river. This place is best for people who want to be on the river fishing, kayaking or canoeing.   I have three kayaks to rent if needed.  No refunds on kayaks or on rain days.  The river levels changes constantly and so does the weather.  Bring water tubes, kayaks or canoes. There is an island that you can explore or spend time on if you kayak a short distance up stream. Wear a life vest for your safety and water shoes. If you want to spend the day on an island beach you must bring or rent a kayak, You can put kayaks in up stream and end up at the property if you have a way to transport the kayaks. I have 3 Kayaks to rent 35 each if needed for the day.  Also bring a shade tent, a hat and sunscreen in the summer.  A headlamp is recommended. Check in before it gets dark. Sometimes the grass is a bit long when it has rained a lot and it can not be mowed unless the ground is dry.  Please do not leave glass or trash cans n the field. Everyone who stays must pay the fee.  I have someone checking on the property and the vehicles on the property.  Please be respectful to others camping and do not go onto other people's private property.  Let me know when you are close to the property and when you leave.  I require a picture of you removing your trash so that you do not get charged for leaving trash.  The river is so beautiful and very much not commercialized.   The area you are entering is not accessible to the general public because it is all private property.
