I loved fishing on Susan’s land. Beautiful day in late December, caught lots of fish. Spend the day kayaking around looking for the ultimate big bass. Finally, caught the big one right before I packed up. My two dogs had the best time running and swimming for hours. I was able to meet Susan and her husband, super nice people. I would highly recommend this place.

We stayed in one of the cabins, which was perfect for couples and very nice. Everyone was friendly and it was peacefully quiet. There was lots of wonderful wildlife to see and a beautiful lake for fishing. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in a rented R.V. R.V. was super clean, air conditioner, and stocked with everything we could have ever needed! Fridge kept all our food ice cold! Scott, the owner, was super friendly and attentive. Saw him every day maintaining the property. He even lent my kids fishing poles because we bought cheap ones and they broke first trip out. Beautiful view, had lots of rain at night but the days were beautiful! We will absolutely be returning very soon!

Beautiful property, great views in every direction. We caught fish all day long. It was just a great escape from the city life. About 10 minutes from Gainesville, in case you want to go out for dinner or run to Walmart for something.

Beautiful property with good fishing. Able to get blue gill, black crappie and large mouth. The biggest was a 4lb 4oz large mouth.

Nice, clean grassy area under a big oak tree. The view of the lake was great. I wish I could have been able to get out in my kayak, but my old body wouldn't cooperate 😞

40 ft fifth wheel
Both RV sites are excellent. The property is secluded, private and well cared for. The hosts, Shari and Walter, are awesome. The sites are easy to access with big rigs and offer full hookups plus WiFi. Everything worked perfectly and I had ZERO issues. If you are looking to stay in the Rhome or Decatur area, this is the absolute best place.
