Well maintained and level pads. Water, electric, and sewer were conveniently located. Sites are back in which wasn’t an issue for our 30’ Class A motorhome, however, larger units and 5th wheels may find the sites a challenge to back in to. Camp hosts were fantastic and very accommodating.

I was welcomed by friendly goats and lil pig. Since, it was a thanksgiving day - I only saw three people in the area. Our tent was superb! Perfect spot for our camping but unfortunately we have to leave after 3 hours of stay coz my son has an anxiety attack. He just got tired from our previous camp (this is actually our second spot). I believe we need to come back here again soon and explore the area. The communication w the host was great. All the instructions were given clearly and the suggested trail to explore. We really need to come back here again soon.

We had a wonderful time. We got an a little bit late at night. Check-in was exactly the instructions they gave, very simple, very easy find our spot. We had a wonderful stay and an easy departure the next morning. Would definitely stay again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Campsite Review
I had a fantastic stay at this campsite! The entire park is clean, very well lit, and clearly brand new, which makes a huge difference when arriving late or navigating a large rig. The parking pads and individual campsites are enormous, giving you plenty of room to get settled without feeling cramped. There’s also a large turnaround at the end of the drive, which makes orienting your camper super easy, and the main driveway offers plenty of space for backing in comfortably.
The hosts were incredibly kind, communicative, and thoughtful. When I was rushing to arrive before sunset, the host even hopped in her vehicle and guided me to my site to help me meet my goal of getting parked and set up before dark—such above-and-beyond service! There were also lots of clear flags and markers on arrival, which made finding the right turn a breeze.
One of the highlights of this location is the abundance of trees and natural shade. Shade can be so hard to find in the RV world, but not here—there are trees everywhere! Even the sites that are a bit more open still have several trees, so I imagine every spot gets at least some shade depending on the time of day.
If you’re looking for a quiet, spacious, well-maintained campsite with thoughtful hosts, I highly recommend this one. I’d absolutely stay again!

Loved the spot! I plan to return. Bathroom and shower available and a kitchenet with appliances, very convenient. Little nice trail to the nearby lake with kayaks available for use. Loved the artistry on the property, the hammocks, entertainment area, and easy place to collect firewood for campfire!

This place is always awesome, but this new site takes it up a notch! The full size tent that you can walk in, the front porch and back balcony and electricity make it so comfortable and fun! When regular tent clamping gets old, or you are more of a glamper I can’t recommend this site enough! Plus the host Barry is always the best!

Weekend Trip to Hideout Ridge
Magnificent place! Secluded and quiet. Lots of trails to walk and find interesting things. Don’t be like me and forget to bring food and a way to cook it if there’s a burn ban because the stores are not exactly a 5 minute trip. We will be back without a doubt!
