My husband, dogs, and I stayed in The Hideout and it was the perfect cozy space with everything we needed. Communication was top notch and river access for fishing was a definite perk. We saw plenty of wildlife during our stay as well.

Unique glamping experience, beautifully located with exceptional peace a quite. Facilities are clean, and kept to high standards. Nearby Llano is a welcoming city with historical attractions, also several of the Texas State Parks that are unique and worth visiting. Star gazing was amazing!

We absolutely loved the dome! It was so private and serene. Beautiful views of the sunset in the evening and deer passing by in the morning. The dome itself was clean, well designed, and well appointed (down to the airfryer and adjustable desk with a monitor!). The bed was really comfortable with no shortage of linens and the A/C was nice an powerful! It was a very short drive from Llano, close to Enchanted Rock, and just far enough from Austin to feel like a true getaway. Hands-down an amazing experience!

Our stay in the safari tent was really nice. Exactly as pictured and described! The setup was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a camping trip without the hassle of packing heavy gear. The bathroom with the powered rooftop was such a great bonus and made the experience even better. We loved the balance of being close to nature while still having all the little comforts covered.

Lost horizon was a great experience for us. I’m in my 40’s and we enjoy camping but I am not into communal living or multiple units close together. This offered the seclusion we wanted and a fair price. You will need a 4x4 vehicle or at least a full size suv to get down the last stretch of road to the sites. Everything else is just as noted on the site and within the website for the property. Don’t hesitate to book!

We had a wonderful time staying at Lost Horizon with our two pups! We enjoyed the quiet and serene surroundings, saw mule deer and antelopes, and felt 100% rejuvenated and recharged. The Baithouse was so adorable, perfect for me and my husband. The camp hosts were amazing, especially due to all the major flooding happening around us, kept us updated to current conditions, etc We had an amazing experience even though we didn’t get to explore much due to the weather. I love my stay at the dome it was extremely relaxing and peaceful. It was such a restful place. Giving the nice feeling of being in the middle of nature but only 15mins from a town that had everything I needed. The dome itself was wonderful with the view from the bedroom to a full bathroom and fast wifi. I spent my whole time at the dome getting a few days of R&R after a deployment and left feeling fully recovered and at peace.

I spent 3 nights in the cozy cacti container with my dog and can't wait to return again. The cabin provides all of the comforts of home and the land surrounding the container home is absolutely gorgeous. The front porch is a perfect spot for bird watching and its an easy hike down to the water. If I were to create my own ideal getaway cabin, it would be just like this place. Its perfect!
