There is a seasonal creek that runs through the back and sort of a swappy pond in the front. The Prairie in the front is some sort of different grass than usual. It might be native buffalo grass or something else weird like that. The property needs a lot of cleanup, so I would make a good to work campers or groups wanting a working party. The land could use some work, I could contribute a lot of free beer and food to people cleaning up the place before I build my house.

Another great trip to 4G ranch. Site was freshly mowed and clear directions on how to get there. Enjoyed the proximity to the fishing. My 12 year old loved being able to just walk on down there to cast his line. Will be back again soon!

The campsite and view was gorgeous in late winter. It was nice to have so much green grass for the dogs to roam around on and thankfully no other guests came to the other sites so we had plenty of space all to ourselves. One thing that I wish was more clear in the listing was how residential it is. The houses/farms are pretty far off, but you do hear lots of barking dogs, car noise, etc. It's not terrible, but not good if you're a light sleeper or are wanting to be a bit more remote. Overall however, it's a nice getaway that's an easy drive from DFW and the view of the pond from the hillside is very picturesque.
