Choose where u want to set up ur tent. Lake o pines is a beautiful lake for a wonderful day of fishing or just cruising around on the lake . Nearby stores just a few blocks away for those last minute items

I obviously take advantage of living in the country and enjoying the peace and quiet of everyday living that it provides! So many people enjoy coming out here and just unplugging and unwinding. I know my property won't disappoint if you decide to stay in the fully equipped cabin. The ponds are fully stocked with bass, bream and catfish, so fun to catch and you can even keep your catch and cook them over your own campfire. The canopy of stars and chirping frogs will lull you to sleep in the privacy of this secluded campsite.

Seven Acres Campground

We moved to our seven acres in 1999 and have spent 15 years building the campground and furnishing the cabins with antiques specific to the era they are named after. It’s like getting to spend the night in your favorite part of a museum! The Fireman’s Bunker, WWII Room and the Victorian Room along with a claw foot rub to soak in!

The Victorian room is furnished from the turn of the century  with a few modern conveniences thrown in.

The bed is an antique full size bed with beautiful pillows and spread that accommodates up to two people.

The Shower House is shared by all of the cabins and is just a few steps from any cabin. The claw foot tub is a spa experience for sore muscles after a soak in the never ending tankless hot water with bath salts!

Daffodil Hill Homestead

Our homestead is a few acres in East Texas, near Hawkins. The land has been untouched for about 30 years, maybe last used for cattle grazing. We're keeping the property as natural as possible, we live here off-grid and off-pipe.

There’s a 17 acre lake that we share with neighbors. It’s full of bass, bluegill, crappie and catfish, we encourage catch and keep fishing since the lake could use a little fishing pressure. We also have a beaver pond, and resident beaver. 

Some of the wildlife we see regularly: fireflies, turtles, cardinals, bluejays, hummingbirds, kite birds, frogs, opossums, armadillos, beaver, river otter, road runners and rabbits. These plants live here too: Beautyberry, Dewberry, Pokeberry, Sparkleberry, Dogfennel, Dogwood, Yaupon Holly, Holly, Wax Myrtle, Sassafras , Lyreleaf Sage, Carolina Crane’s bill, Coral Honeysuckle, Western White Honeysuckle, Smooth Cat’s Ear, Daisy Fleabane, Prairie Onion, Mullein, Summer Grape, Water Lily. The entire water lily plant is edible, did you know?

Swim, hang out, cool down on the small swimming dock. Canoe and kayak included! Based on shared availability, we have 1 two person canoe, and 3 kayaks for use on our lake free of charge. There are smaller size adult life jackets and oars/paddles. Bring your own life jackets for kids.

Brookshire's in Hawkins less than 4 miles away if you need supplies.

We are the new owners of the property formerly known as Durango's Canyon aka "The Crater". Under this new ownership and management, Yellow Rose Canyon aims to build a positive community based culture through music, art, food, and family friendly outdoor events. High visibility off Interstate 20, just 90 miles east of Dallas Texas. Completely fenced. Has improvements for a speedway. Pit shack, restrooms, 1,300 parking spaces, with a seating capacity up to 7,500. Has equipment included as grader, trucks, wreckers, concession equipment, office and a barndominium and a lot more. Has 10 RV hookup spots (20X60) with an additional 8 to 10 more potential RV spots. Has 2 billboards on I-20 and FM 1252.
