Waterfront RV Port on Bolivar Peninsula. Water, sewer, and electric (20-30-50 amp panel) Covered RV spot with a screen porch. Property is fenced and dogs are welcome. The screened has a dining table with chairs, and also stores some patio chairs to use on the property. They are really great to sit on the dock! There is also a charcoal grill and a crab trap for you to use. (You need a fishing license and bait. Chicken bones works great!) Fishing is great here... the canals have been dredged and folks are catching right of the back of their lots. Community fishing area is on the end of both Van Sant and Mabry, Mabry has a boat ramp. These you cast right off a drop to the intracoastal. Beach Access via community gate at end of street. Combination for those will be shared in arrival instructions. Spot is a residential lot... It is 60 x 130. Canal City is a quiet residential area. The back side fronts on the water. You will probably see more seagulls and purple martins than people. We have weekly discounts. Message me and I can go over them because the Hipcamp platform makes them difficult. It works out to approximately 7 nights for the price of 5. Be prepared: Bolivar has mosquitoes. This is the coast. If it has rained they can be really bad. The county sprays on a regular rotation but it can be bad. They tend to swarm when you pull in. Spray helps. We also send recommendations for what sprays work best for us in the arrival instructions. We do not offer refunds for mosquitoes. We have never found them unmanageable, and the screen porch keeps them almost entirely away. We are east of Rollover Pass. Easiest to arrive through Winnie and south on 124. Unless you are coming from Galveston or southeast Houston it is probably shorter. The ferry is fun (dolphins and such) but the waits can be long. Also: Do not bring loose propane tanks or gasoline cans on the ferry, they will send you away. Our experience at the place was spectacular. It should be noted that there "THERE ARE BATHROOMS", THERE ARE also SHOWERS. The attention was spectacular. The place is very clean. I just want to emphasize that the entrance is until 7pm. So if you plan to go camping you must arrive before 7pm. I recommend this place 100%

Edge of the Waters was perfect for what we needed. We really enjoyed the screen porch and the property was fenced for my dogs and also made us feel more secure being behind a fence. My dog and I enjoyed a quiet peaceful visit to Magnolia Gardens and were so relaxed walking along the San Jacinto River while the train made its way across the old trestle bridge at the far end of the park. Very nice place and the sunset over the river was icing on the cake! Thanks!

Weekend Trip to Bella's Place on The Bayou

We had a great time. Took the family and three dogs. Has a dedicated fenced dog run. Very private location right on the Bayou. Has a great private dock with good fishing. Caught redfish, blue crabs, spotted sea trout, black drum, catfish, bluegill, ladyfish and alligator gar all in one spot. The hookups were in the perfect location and did not require a long 50amp cord or septic hoses. Surfside beach is only 18 minutes away for your beach fix and good food. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Great host and great spot.

This place was perfect. Nice and quiet, the hist had just tge ight balance of being welcoming amd courteous while giving us privacy. The grounds are well kept, and the pool was amazing. I'm honestly torn between wanting to tell everyone about how great it was, and keeping it a secret.

The RV parking was nice almost everything you could need was already there for you! Would highly recommend for families with dogs and small children. Tim was super nice and very responsive with helpful tips and tricks.

Relaxing Canal-Side Escape – Just got back from an amazing stay at Waters Edge, right on a canal, and wow, what a spot! If you're looking for a great location for fishing, crabbing, and just plain relaxing, this is it. The property itself is really nice and well-kept. Plus, it's completely fenced, which was a huge bonus for us since we brought the dogs along. The dock out back was perfect for casting a line or setting out a crab trap. And get this – there's even a public spot to fish the intercoastal within walking distance, right down the road. Talk about options! They really thought of everything you'd need on site. All the hookups (water, electric, sewer) worked perfectly, and it was super convenient. We even had our choice of two BBQ grills. One of my favorite features was the screened-in patio area; it was awesome to sit outside and enjoy the breeze without getting eaten alive by bugs. While they provided just about everything, you'll want to remember to bring your own fishing pole. But honestly, that's a small detail. Our host, Tim, was super helpful and stayed in touch throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Magnolia Gardens Park

Open to public 7am-7pm very lively with jet skies, people playing, music, and cook outs. Once all non-campers leave its very calm area and you have the whole property to yourself. Wake up to a beautiful scenery. There're lose dogs but calm and don't bother anyone. Staff is very friendly. Clean place trash cans placed around property and dumped out daily, clean restrooms, rarely any branches

Weekend Trip to Nauti Pelican

Property is nice,clean,and is situated in a well maintained área of Bolivar. Mike is very friedly and helpful. The fenced in yard was a true blessing. We had two couples and 2 separate campers, one pulled in the other backed in and there was amañe sauced to set up tables and cooking equipment in between. Highly recommend

It was a little confusing as there was no designated Campspot. Just a lot of picnic tables. So we parked near one and set up camp with our RV for the night. We loved how private it was and quiet it was. Now that I understand how it works. I would definitely go back again.

The campsite is spacious and can comfortably accommodate almost any travel trailer, with 2 sewer hookups, 2 water hookups, and both 30/50 amp electrical connections. It’s fully covered, so you’re sheltered from the elements without sacrificing the outdoor experience. One of the highlights is the amazing deck with a picnic table and additional seating that gives you spectacular views of the surrounding area. The fenced-in yard is an absolute bonus, especially for dog owners—my pups had the freedom to run around off-leash, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The outdoor shower with both hot and cold water is a fantastic feature, along with the charming outdoor swing that adds a relaxing touch to your evening. The patio area is well-lit, perfect for enjoying the space after dark. You’re also in a prime location, close to local stores and Tia Juanita's Fish Camp, where the food is amazing! And if you're looking to explore, it’s just a quick trip to the ferry and then you're off to Galveston Island.
