2 nights at Glamping Remote
I loved camping on Will and Austyn's land. They met us with a warm hello a tour upon arrival. The tent was located towards the back of the property, tucked away nicely. We had the whole camp to ourselves, which was GREAT! We wanted a nice and quiet trip, which is what we got. The tent itself was cozy. Before we arrived, Will and Austyn set up our tent and bathroom area with heaters, turned on and ready to go. That was an AMAZING touch. The night we arrived, the low was 25 degrees. But it actually got hot in the tent, I was sweating. They also provided an electric blanket! Again, a wonderful touch that they didnt have to provide.
The wifi was Great! If you want to unplug completely, great. But we needed the service for Emergency calls back home.
The community kitchen was great! It had almost everything we needed. The bathroom was warm because of the space heater and fully stocked with essentials!
Now a couple of things to think about:
If you're a coffee drinker, bring k cups. Thats what was inside the tent. Or it will be a process to use the French press. Personally, not my thing, but im a HUGE coffee drinker.
The kitchen isnt heated, so cooking was painful the first night only because it was so cold. But the soup we made was worth it.
Spiders... everywhere. Lol its expected... only daddy long legs but be aware if you a terrified of spiders like myself.
Lighting in the tent was low, bring a lantern! Theres a spot to hang one.
All in all it was WONDERFUL! WILL be back!

Weekend Trip to Glamping Remote
We had a great stay! The tent was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kitchen area was well set up, and the host was very kind—he even extended our checkout time, which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

Will and Austin are awesome hosts! There was a slight mixup (probably our fault) in our reservation but they upgraded me to the awesome tiny home for night two. It was brand new. Austin gave me a great tour and history of the property at midnight when I finally arrived. Was still there to greet me! Great place. Not far from a beautiful lake. Bring your kayaks and enjoy the east Texas life for a bit!

Will and Austyn went above and beyond to share the history and beauty of family land while also providing a safe haven of glam and convenience to feel like you are amongst the wild but feeling safe, accepted and valued.
I grew up not far from here. And this area has always brought me back - despite my endless travels to find other semblances of home in nature or culture.
I recognize that the piney woods of East, TX have always been home to me and especially to the city girl that left when she was 18 for “more”.
The people here are family forward, embrace all things nature and have down home values - while also providing the land with as much nourishment as it gives us. And Will and Austyn are leading the path for generations to come.
They will let you be in solitude if you choose, but they can also be the best guides and companions for an unforgettable escape amongst the wild.
My heart is full and my friend list has grown. I will always go back.
But, I wouldn’t be able to say that if I never went in the first place. :)

Loved staying here it is a very beautiful and peaceful place. I enjoy sitting in the hot tub, sitting by the fire and taking my dogs for long walks. In the day time I enjoyed fishing and swimming only about 10 min away. I would recommend this place and love to come back!

We loved the that it was spacious both inside and outside! The firepit was a big plus for us we loved sitting outside and visiting around it. The owners had many games you can play plus canoes with the life jackets and ores. Jacksons Ranch Marina is only about 5 miles away and they offer boat tours along with fishing guides. It’s a beautiful area I encourage ya’ll to go and have a sleepover with your friends and family

Weekend Trip to Glamping Remote
This place really is an example of glamping 101. I came in December right before Christmas, and the low for the night was about 5° above freezing. Will and Austyn had the tent set up with a heater, an electric blanket, and I had an electric blanket of my own which kept me warm and cozy all night. Austyn greeted me when I arrived and it was dark which really helped get oriented. He showed me around and let me settle in. The morning was incredibly picturesque. My tent is shaded in the morning so from the front deck, you can see the expanse of the land beautifully lit. I was only there for one night but was greeted by Will in the morning. These two really are the friendliest and so open. Would definitely stay here again.
