Mariposa a non profit organization that has over 600 acres of open plains to explore. Tent sites are a short 5 minute walk to the community center that has a full restroom with shower and kitchen. Our RV parking is right next to the community center and can accommodate the largest rigs. Our tent camping spaces are spread out for added privacy and we have a dumpster on site. When you camp at Mariposa you have the whole 600 acres to hike and explore while being a short 5 minute drive outside the restaurant and hotel district of Amarillo. Come enjoy the beauty of the Texas panhandle at Mariposa!
