Coppergate Ranch

From Caddo Indians, pioneers, homesteaders, this land has seen it all.  Now it is a ranch with an event venue, horses, farm animals, trails, fishing ponds and camping.  A true "Country Club" where you can escape your world and the stresses of technology in the style you wish.  We have two on site RV's, and event venue, with 3 private bathrooms with showers, a club bar, catering kitchen and so much more!  Perfect for the family that has a "glamper" and those who want to "rough it".  Big enough to handle family reunions, weddings and parties yet .. big enough to give you the privacy you seek!  Contact us for special events.  Close by are the towns of Mt pleasant, Daingerfield and Pittsburg.  All have downtown areas with boutiques, antique and second hand shops to visit.  There are several museums in the area including the Mid America Flight Museum - a private museum of 60 vintage airplanes in flyable condition.  In pittsburg there is the Ezekial aircraft and local history museum.  also within 20 miles are major likes for water sports and sport fishing beyond our own famous "Catfish pond".

Each year our does give birth to singles and twins.  They are wild so you may or may not realize they are there.  We have several wildlife observation locations near feeders.

Tigerback Lodge

640 acres adjacent to wildlife rich Millwood lake. Bird watchers paradise. Hiking and biking trails everywhere. Camp site located on a shaded bluff overlooking a working cattle ranch. Two RV camp sites with both electricity and water. A yurt tent with a nice deck also available. Truly a nature lovers paradise. 

My husband and I had a great time. Danny was so welcoming and kind to us.

Our farm
was once a historic working ranch and vibrant
concert venue where country legends like Dolly Parton, George Strait, Merle Haggard, Tanya Tucker, and Willie Nelson played in the 70's and 80's. Now it is a working western performance horse barn where the owner trains and competes at the world championship level in reining and cutting.

We have indoor arena; outdoor arenas and round pens, with 70 acres of pasture, and trails nearby to explore! Everyone is welcome! You certainly don't have to have horses to enjoy our ranch and the animals on it. Come see what it's like in rural Texas. Hang out in your camper, explore the ranch, watch us ride from the arena stands, or go hiking on the nearby trails. If you do have horses, this is a great opportunity to spend some time away from home or perhaps just provide a peaceful stop along the road. Reading a map and following directions is a skill required upon entry as cell signals glitch out in these woods.  This journey will delight the adventures spirits seeking the road less traveled. Camp Allen is approximately 250acres. There is a private 15acre lake stocked with Bass & Perch on the grounds as well as hiking trails.
